brush your cat daily
feed a good quality cat food
I got a rubber brush at Bed, Bath and Beyond and it works really good for cleaning hair from clothes and furniture
I would advise getting a good vacuum also
I have a Pomeranian and a Himalayan cat.....lots of hair

Get rid of him.
If you have a cat, that is one of the sacrifices you have to make and that is having cat hair everywhere!
I have a white cat too, I have to use the sticky roller on my clothes everyday before I go to work because of all his hair. But I would do for the rest of my life if it meant that I could keep him. He is the greatest!

Only way is to get rid of the hair on the cat. Get one of those "sticky" brushes to get the hair off furniture and stuff. Ordinary scotch tape works too. Wrap a piece around your hand and use it to lift the hair from things.

Lint rollers are very helpful for clothes. As for the furniture, vacume often. I also saw something called a "Pet Vac" on television. I'm not sure how great it works, but it vacumes the loose hair right off your pets. (It's supposed to feel good to your pets, too.) Good luck!

You can use a lint roller to get the hair off of your things. Or you can go to the source and get a special brush which collects loose hair. Most veterinarians will have them or be able to tell you where to get one.

Forget it. Buy a really good vacuum and live with your little bud. My Stimpy occasionally hacks up a hair-ball;BUT she'll cover it with paper or whatever so I won't step in it.

If the cat sheds normally just brush it more often. If it sheds continuously, I don't know.

shave your cat
just kidding. You can probably get one if those rollers for pet hair on clothes at Wal-Mart and rub it on the carpets and fabric materiels.

I lint roll my grey cat.
He likes it.
You just need to groom it more, it won't solve the problem 100% but it will help.
