No, Cats are clean, they are always cleaning themselves. If you are worried take him to your vet. If something is wrong he will take care of it, if not he will reassure you.

No. Stuff your cat licks goes into his stomach. It might give him hairballs but the symtoms are different.
Your cat has a potentially fatal problem and you must get him to the vet. If the bladder cannot empty it can burst.
He would also get a kidney infection.
It will also be extremely uncomfortable for him. You know what it feels like when you have to wait for a pee for too long.

My very own opinion is all cats will income from a larger half, supplies them somebody to play with whilst your no longer there and keeps them extra energetic and sociable, although I comprehend that's no longer consistently achievable. That stated, see you later as you get them fixed a woman is high quality. in basic terms introduce them intently, because of fact the male might get jealous. As for the scratching, mine do the comparable factor its prevalent for a cat. If he's scratching issues he shouldn't, determine he has issues he can scratch, mine like cardboard packing containers, and that i had a topic with certainly one of mine scratching doors and each so often human beings, each and each time i might capture him i might trim his claws, no longer too far, yet sufficient that he could no longer truly scratch stuff. After some circumstances he found out, and now he's high quality, does not scratch at something he shouldn't.

Not likely that would be more likely to cause gagging and hairballs. You said he has been trying for three days to pee( taken form old question) get him to a vet now! If he has a kidney stone or anything else blocking his urine flow then his bladder can only hold so much before something really bad happens.

what kind of urinating problem? Does he share a box with other cats? Try having a seperate box for each cat. This cleared up our cat's problem. He could also have a urinary tract infection, in that case he needs to see a vet right away.

If he's male, he's probably spraying to mark his territory. What sort of urinating problem is he having? Too much? Too little? Peeing all over the place? Is he neutered?

No...my kitten constantly grooms himself and that's never affected his bathroom habits. Maybe they're having too much liquid in their diet or drinking too much water, milk...etc... You may want to incorporate more dry food into their diet.

most likely cystitis and is easily treated.
if he is unable to urinate at all this is an emergency and must be seen now!!!!!!!!!!!
if able take him to the vets tomoz to get this sorted. it is rather uncomfy for them and nothing to do with grooming.

No!!!!!!!! sounds like he could be stressed. If he has a particular spot where he goes to pee a good trick is to put his food bowls there as they dont like to dirty where they eat
