Neighbour has four cats, one of which loves it at my house at the moment he's asleep on his cushion. I will leave a window open because I haven't got a catflap will he jump out of the window if he needs to do a poo? He has been trying to get in all day and I have finally given up after loud miows and jumping on the window ledge and looking in, he is really tired. NO GO area speaking to his owners ....

Hi: if you can't talk to the owners and you don't mind the cat at your house; go ahead and leave the window open as long it doesn't get to cold for you..The cat should go back out the window to go to the bathroom when it needs too.. It sounds like you will have a new house guess ..If you want to break the cat of going to the window call him/her to the door or another place so you don't loose your heat during the cold months..If you and this cat really get along why don't you ask the owners if they would consider giving the cat to you...I hope that I have helped you...Good Luck

Cats will often pick the person and the place they want to be, looks like this cat picked you, be honoured. Since you gave him a pillow sounds like you don't mind to much. Maybe being at your place just gives him the peace and quiet he needs away from the other three cats. Sometimes cats want to be the only cat so I'd just let him in and out when your home. My neigbours cat does the same thing but he doesn't stay long but sometimes he'll sleep right on the middle of my bed, oddly enough my two cats put up with him doing this and it really causes no harm so I let him visit. You sound like a nice person and the cat has taken to you and your house, so enjoy it. I do.

if he is house trained, he will go out side. if you don't want the cat in your house keep the window closed, you can get sonic noise thingy that will keep it away but wont do it any damage

Congratulations. You have been adopted by a cat!! You realize that people don't own cats, they own you. My cat somes around for a scratch and food and then she wants to be on her own.

keep him inside, he's yours, if his owners are stupid enough to let him outside they shouldn't have him, if you don't want him take him to the aspca so someone can find a home for him
