My pet cat has sadly passed away. I have decided that it is a shame to bury her, so have decided to eat her. My neighbour( i think he is muslim) gave me the idea as he said he ate his dog.Well what i want to know is it legal, and also is it safe. Any recipe ideas will be much appreciated, but she will not fit in the microwave. Thanks

Koreans eat dogs not cats and Chinese do not eat either. Some people need to get their facts straight.
You on the other hand, if you want to eat your cat feel free to do so I doubt anyone can stop you. However more than likely you will not find recipes on how to cook cat because the general public does not try and consume cat meat.

Scrape up some road kill off the street and eat them together. Any disease you get will obviously be worth it when you can tell everyone how cool you are for doing dumb things for the shock value. "She will not fit in the microwave"????? Are you planning on sticking the whole cat in the microwave and then just taking a fork and digging in? At least be creative if you're going to post stupid crap like that.

Your neighbour's religion has nothing to do with your feline feeding so I suspect that not only are you a knob but also a bigot. I do not support any religion but it sounds like this is about you wanting us to believe Muslims eat dogs.
Are you thinking of eating the spiders, rats and cockroaches in your kitchen as well?

Please do not eat your cat . I understand that you miss her but wouldn't it be better to bury your cat then you could still go out and talk to your kitty . otherwise you eat your pet then what poop your pet out then it is gone forever . besides I am a firm believer in God and that he has a special place in heaven for pets so please do not eat your cat . besides it could make you very sick and would you really want your pet to eat you if you died or would you want the people who loved you to take your pet in to their hearts an home . take a while to grieve then with a clear head do what is the right and honorable thing for your pet . I know what you are going through I lost my kitty of 11yrs last year at this time your heart will heal but it will take time . please reconsider and do not eat your pet

If you need to ask this question then maybe you dont need to eat your lil kitty. People have done far worse things than eat their pets. They eat their childrens placentas and all sorts of weird stuff like that. If you feel that eating your kitty by all means go right ahead, but proceed with caution, unless she was run over by a car you might want to know what horrible ravenous disease or illness that she died from. Good eatings!!!!

Im assuming this is a joke but find it funny that so many people seem to be offended by it. Probably few of them are vegatarians. Surely its better to eat an animal that is already dead than one that is currently alive and would have to be slaughtered. It would make me ill, but so would eating a beef steak. Im assuming the muslim statement is just to wind people up..... seems to be working.

i think this is extremely bizarre.
i don't know about any laws associated with this, but prepare for friends to think this is totally outrageous.
i think it would probably be more acceptable to bury your cat, or cremate her. eating her is probably a bad idea, as she will develop bacteria on herself as she begins to decay. eating her will also leave you without any sort of memorial for her.
bury her in the backyard, make a stepping stone grave (that you can purchase at the craft store) and eat something normal.
