Put TIN FOIL around the base and whatever area she goes near. for some reason alot ofkittens will stay away from it.. At least it worked to get them to stop peeing in potted plants.

I had a cat that would never disturb anything in the Christmas tree, yet get herself up on a branch and sleep there. It was cute I will admit.
I wouldnt know.. really except to keep her hour of the room where the tree is. Maybe a scent she doesnt like, the stuff you can by to prevent cats from scratching stuff up?? I dont know how it works but it would be worth a try

She is going to like playing with the branches as mine does just keep the kitten away from the room the tree is in or you can put the tree on an elavated area the kitten can't reach.

There are a lot of people with a lot of ideas. The thing that long time cat owners have found is that it is next to impossible. A determined cat will wait for and use any opportunity to do what it wants. If you can do something to anchor your tree to keep it from tipping over, maybe fasten your ornaments a little tighter so that they don't fall off, that would go a long way to protecting your tree.
The next thing, just occurred to me today. Catnip is part of the mint family. Cats are attracted to mint of any kind. Some people like to put candy canes on their trees. That is like putting bait on a hook. The cat smells the peppermint and suddenly, it isn't just about those shiny ornaments or the opportunity to climb.
Hope this helps you some.

Lol!! That's my favorite part of having a tree in the house! It's not worth stressing over during the holiday season. Just put your breakable ordaments up towards the top or put them on display on a shelf till next Christmas. Just enjoy your kittens playfullness. Remember one day your kitten wil be fat and try sleeping on your face, enjoy the little guy till then!!

Keep a little spray bottle with water in it. If she gets into the Christmas tree, spray her with the bottle and say "No, don't do that!" Cats hate water, so it will stop her from getting into the tree, but it doesn't really hurt them.

Maybe in a not to harsh way say "no" to her when she goes near the tree. It depends on what she does by how you should keep her out of your xmas tree. Srry this is the best way I can help you.

I totally agree re spray bottle . . . HOWEVER, you can't watch them 24/7.
I elavate my tree on a platform . . .surround it with a fence made of chicken wire. Then decorate the fence so it cannot be scene.
You can get very creative doing this and it is alot of fun, (especially watching the frustrated look on their faces.)

i do not comprehend if there is any thanks to thoroughly save a cat out of the Christmas tree. A note of caution, although, in case you take advantage of tinsel, and the cat eats this, that is amazingly volatile. The tinsel can reduce the cat's insides, and that is amazingly severe. Play it secure, and "kitty evidence" your tree, please.
