Well he always attacks my other dog. Not severely but he still does. How can I train him MYSELF to stop doing this? He's a puppy but he has already grown almost the size of my other dog.

My cat I think is having seperation anxiety or something. He gets very territorial whne I leave he will run to the door and jump up on his hind paws and stick his front paws in the air as if he is trying to block me from leaving. Sometimes he even swipes at my feet, his claws aren't extended but he just doesn't want me to leave and he gets all sad and cries by the door. Is there anything I can do to soothe him before I leave?

Pebbles will go days without making a noise. Then out of no where she will make loud screaming noises mix with a few normal sounding "chirps." She will also flap her wings like she is flying in the cage...I don't know what in the world she is doing because if she wants to fly her cage door is always open when I'm home. I also give her treats and lots of toys but I'm wondering if any other cockatiels seem perfectly content living in their cage? I know this seems like a lot of questions!
NOTE: I have only had pebbles for about 4 months. Her previous owner was elderly and passed away. I'm not sure of Pebbles age. She will hiss and not let anyone touch her.

Do not want any that our prone to bite. One that is fairly easy to care for also.

I use to have two parakeets but then I gave them to my grandma, because my mom said that they were too messy. My grandma has had them for about two years now and they are very spoil. She always lets them out of their cage to fly around then when they are done they fly right back into their cage, but everytime my brothers and I go to her house the birds start flying really fast past our face. I swear I nearly felt one of their wings touch my nose. I noticed that they do this especially when my grandma hugs me cause I am thirteen and still my grandma's baby. Do you think they act this way cause they are jealous?

Every day at 1:00a.m. my dog barks as loud as he can. I take him out and bring him back in. Then as soon as I lay down, he barks again? Could there be someone lurking around my house at night?

Sometimes he will just start doing this for no reason...why? Also when they squak over and over...what they are doing? Are they happy, mad? sad?

I went to my local vet of 4+ years unexpectedly when my dog was attacked by another dog. She sustained an injury to the neck area. The vet looked at the wound, cleaned and bandaged it. No staples, stitches, pain medication, etc were given. However, when I approached the front desk, the invoice was almost $400! This occurred during regular business hours and I was an established client. I advised that I would pay $150 in cash immediately and my husband would come by with the rest on his lunch hour. They held my dog and refused to explain their charges! It is time to see if I am overreacting or if this is crazy!!

We recently adopted a ten-month-old cat from the SPCA last Thursday, and we were planning to get two -- it was all going great. The cat would let us cuddle with him, sit on our lap, etc. When we got the second one yesterday from the same place (SPCA), the loving stopped. They get along relatively fine -- they tolerate each other, but I can't help but feel sad because everytime I try to cuddle up with the former original cat (they're 6 months apart) he doesn't act the same...he doesn't let me hold and hug him for long periods of time, hold his paws, cuddle, etc. Will he ever "go back to normal"?

I have a 2 year old rottie, my little princess. I've noticed that when people come over to the house or vs. she will immdiately sit behind me or infront of me, she's never been mean to anyone but will not socialize with them. Is this normal for rotties?

We have a very active 9 mo. old beagle and have debated on getting a cat for a playmate for her. I don't know how she will like that though - or how the kitty would?! we thought about a cat that was less than a year but not a tiny kitten so it could hold its own with the dog, but we aren't sure. The beagle needs something to entertain her more than we can and I wondered if anyone had a beagle and cat?

I notice dogs have amazing ability to wake up and walk around for about a hour then take a nap for two or three hours then eat and go outside for about 20 mins then it's back to nap again. This keep repeating through the day. How could dog do a such thing?
