I recently read an article about a woman in Brazil who had a cat that mated with a dog. All but one of the litter died. The resultant suriviving offspring looked like a cat, mostly, with a puppy sort of face. It was disturbing.

But, as others have stated correctly, it is genetically impossible for this to happen. The mystery of the kitty-pups has been solved and proved to be a hoax.

It is not genetically possible for cats and dogs to breed.

Genetics of each breed will not let them mate together. The egg would never be properly fertilized.
