my black lab, who weighs about 50 pounds ate some rat bait (2 standard blocks at max) about three days ago and by the time i found out it was to late to make him barf. now he’s acting sick, tired and he has pink diarrhea and about two days ago and i need someone to tell me he’s not going to die.please! someone? anyone?

how do u know if my fishes are breeding(goldfish,redcaps,,etc)?

i've a fish aquarium from last 4 years but my fishes have never bred or layed eggs..or i dont know if they had at some period of time..how to know if they have laid eggs,how to differentiate between males n females..i clean my tank at around 20-25 days..

My guinea pig isn't as energetic anymore hes getting fat and lazy help please?

When i got my guinea pig he was about a year old. He used to be quite jumpy. Now alls he will do is chew on ANYTHING he can, i get him toys and little hay balls but it's like hes not amused hes only about 2 years old. Hes about 10 inches long and almost as heavy as a 5 pound bag of sugar i am worried about his heath, All day he will drink water and eat and sleep i try to play with him but he just runs to a corner and chews..what should i do... what is wrong... Help !!!

Two very frightened kittens...?

We got two kittens last night, who are four months old. They have come from a breeder and were kept in a cage outside. They are very frightened and once we finally got them out of the cat basket, they have now wedged themselves behind the washing machine. They did come out during the night and ate the food and drank water. However they have now got back behind the washing machine and I can't get to them. Any ideas on how to coax them out or should I just leave them there until they are ready to come out themselves (as I know they will eat when we are not around)?

my cat has lost allot of fur on his butt and I'm starting to get worried?

My cat has fles and has lost lots of hair and has lots of scabs on his body. i have tryed fle baths and colers but nothing works. what can i do to make the fles go away and for him to get his hair back?

Is it safe to let my child play with a wild racoon that is tame?

a racoon comes through the cat door into my kitchen and eats my cats food .....but
My wife has started to feed it and i caught her the other day touching it.......I told her to stop but she refuses because the raccoon bought her babies to visit her and she thinks that is Honorable that it trusts her so much ......Now my son is feeding it am i over reacting or can raccoons be nice and be mean the next day and will the raccoon be vicious towards my cat

my pug seems to have something stuck in her throat or maybe a little deeper, what can i do to get rid of it?

i dont think my 11 month old pugs food went down right and got stuck or she ate to big of a piece. she isnt choking but you can tell by the way she is breathing. what can i do to help her?

what do neon tetra egges look like?

i went to feed my fish this morning and i saw something white that looks like wet cotton and it is near the gravel in my aquarium.
well,i wasnt surprised cause i have 2 tetras that has a bulky belly(looks like its carrying eggs).
But i dont really know if those are eggs or not, if yes,whose eggs? i also got some glowlight tetras with my neons.
please tell me what do neon tetra eggs look like.
or show me(give a link).

Emergency!!Something is wrong!?

I've a betta and he just fell down from a height yesterday.He is now okay but will he develop any serious diseases like ammesia?He also swam head down on the gravel right after the fall.If any one thinks he is sick can y'all tell me?

My dog doesn't make noise?

My beagle is a yr old, we just got her a couple days ago, since then we've had people knocking on the door and everything. She doesn't bark, or growl, or, like beagles should, howl, she doesn't whimper or cry. Is my dog mute or something, or is she just really passive?
