ya,
we just got an chinchilla from my sister becuse she dident want it anymore. but so far the poor thing seems to be scared of everything and wont let you pick it up. she also seems to be losing hair in little bits. i just need to know what to feed it, what it need for cage size, some tips on taming her down and also. and is there anyway to teach it to use the bathroom only in the cage.

i was at work and someone in my hous took out the birds..they went out came back and has been lost since and could nto have flown out casue windoes closed.. i looked evrywhere i nthe hosue is there anyway to get him to come out of hiding?

he is a doberman puppy. It doesn't matter what we do,he jumps up and puts his paws on the counter/table and grabs whatever he can. It is such a pain to have to constantly chase him around the house trying to get it back. he can run very fast and is much smarter than the average pup.

So before I tell the story this is who it involves: My guyfriend (lets call him Bob) and my girlfriend (lets call her Alice).

Okay so Bob had a friend who had a liter of puppies. He had to give them all away so Bob decided to tell Alice about the puppies. So Bob introduced Alice to the puppies and maed Alice really want to get one of them. Bob specifically told her not go get one until he checked out more info on the dog (shots, etc). Alice went ahead and got the dog and then she had to go out of town. She asked me to dog sit while she was gone. So she did. Anyways, I fell completely in love with the dog, and it is really hard to know that it is going to go back to a home where it will have no one to play or be around. She is gone ALL of the time and neglects her animals. It is a sweet 7 month year old baby black lab... ALSO my friend Bob told Alice that he would let the dog stay at his house until her mom okayed it...He then said he had to go out of town, so Alice now has to...

My daughter gave her a stuffed dog toy for Christmas and she carries it with her everywhere. Now she has started to whine to go outside but then sits at the door whining to come in. She has also started to dig in the cat box geting all the litter out. This has happed about four times in the last two days. She also very clingy and has this pitiful look on her face. What could be the problem? I also have another lab that is her mother, and she is not acting quite the same, but not to this degree. Help?

Ok so I posted before about how I used the wrong kind of ammonia to cycle my tank. I emptied out my entire tank, and just finished rinsing huge buckets of gravel.(The inside glass as well, along with the plants) I rinsed each bucketfull four times, maybe more, to get rid of whatever chemical residue may be on it. It has a funky smell, but I am unsure if that is the gravel itself or from whatever was in the ammonia. Do you think this is enough rinsing before I put the gravel back in my tank?

I do consider him as a son, so in the family category - am I sexually abusing him. On the other hand, he is a big pudgy dog who cannot stretch enough to like his balls, and I feel sorry for him, so when he does clamp onto my leg, I just let him finish. I do look the other way though. So am I being a friend or abusing my dog?

my bird just got it foot broken by my other bird plz help me wat should i do i dont have the money to take it to the vet the bird that got its foot broke is a indian ringneck the other one is a macaw there is no blood and the foot is in tact but he cant move it wat should i do will it heal on its own

I took my cat to the vet and they found a hard belly. They gave him a enema and he shot out whats been hurting him about 10 seconds later. 2 days has passed and he has blood in his stool. is this typical after an enema? He had a thermometer stuck up his butt then this enema and im thinking it was "rough" for him. I watched him poop and it looks like it hurts. sometimes he has drool coming out of his mouth when hes done. He wont eat or drink much, just hides in places. He also has an infected eye. They gave him meds for that but now he has this small black cloud forming below his iris. Is this a rash reaction to the medication or considered normal for most eye infections?

I think hes more sick than just constipated with an eye infection. Any tips would help. The Vet says if no improvement shows within 2 weeks to take him back.

My cat has been going through bouts of vomiting. As soon as he eats, it comes right back up. These bouts will last about a week, and he'll be fine for about two weeks. I started feeding him Purina Cat Chow for Sensitive Systems. He was fine for awhile but has started getting sick again. He is also having trouble keeping down wet food. I dont change his food, and his bowel movements do not have worms. Other than the vomiting, he still plays, and does the normal cat things. Any suggestions would be great!

I have a dog and my sister says that about 10 minutes before I get home my dog walks to the door and waits for me? It is weird becuase I do not get home from work at the same time. How does he know I am on my way home? Also when the earthquate at Northtrige took place, about 20 minutes before my dog was behaving crazy. And sometimes he behaves like he is playing with something in the air, like he wants to touch something in the air. It is very weird

i have goldfish in a 2.5 gallon tank with air pump and filtered water, but my fish has been acting weird like seating at the bottom of the tank and not eating etc. i have never seen it like tht before... any suggections what i should do??? i dont want her to die on me :(
