I do consider him as a son, so in the family category - am I sexually abusing him. On the other hand, he is a big pudgy dog who cannot stretch enough to like his balls, and I feel sorry for him, so when he does clamp onto my leg, I just let him finish. I do look the other way though. So am I being a friend or abusing my dog?

No, but it is a behavior that you want to stop just shake him off your leg. My family used to have a mini. weiner dog and he would do that to me all the time, the again he had never been neutered either. I suggest shaking him off your leg if he does do it but by all means intervene when he is about to do it and tell him in a firm voice "no". Also what you may want to do is go ahead and get him neutered, that way he won't have any ugres.

Your dog is displaying his domination over you when he does this. He knows the difference between this and a union with a female dog. He is not doing this because he is sexually frustrated. Male dogs will do this to other male dogs to show who is boss of who. So I wouldn't let my dog do that unless you don't intend for him to behave for you when you say so or any other form of you dominating him. Why would he? He's the top dog.

And you consider the dog as your son ?? No I wouldn't let him get off on my leg.. I know I wouldn't want to watch my son having sex...If you feel so sorry for him ..get him a girl dog or neutered.

What are molestment and fruitrition? If you really mean molestation and fruition, NO. But its real inconsideration for anyone coming into your house. I bet he's not neutered. If you get this done the behavior will stop. He also will not die an early death with testicular cancer.

Friends keep such things private, and I think he is your friend.

Seriously, he will overgrow that. That is a very common thing, you should not feel guilty about that.
