I've a betta and he just fell down from a height yesterday.He is now okay but will he develop any serious diseases like ammesia?He also swam head down on the gravel right after the fall.If any one thinks he is sick can y'all tell me?

if he doesn't have any obious wounds then he is probably ok, if you don't have any decorations/hiding places in his tank or a large enough tank then the whole diving into the gravel was probably him trying to hide because he got spooked.

The only thing you can really do right now is monitor him. Watch for changes in behavior, lethargy, or loss of appetite. Keep his water clean (if he's in a bowl, change it out every three days; if he's in a tank,do a 20% water change weekly). He's likely to be stressed from the fall, and stressed fish are more prone to disease.

It really depend on what the Betta fish is. some Betta can avoid getting sick

If it doesn't kill him he will live. Don't worry bettas are cheap, they only live about 3 years anyway.

that is okay.... i dropped a lot of bettas(on accedient)... and they all survived... it makes them more active too.
