I need to lose 25 pounds by December. (And I'd really like to lose 10 by the time I go back to college...in August!)
Thing is, I have willpower, but only in spurts. What is the best way to stay motivated to do all the things to lose weight (like, limiting calories and going to exercise and all that jazz)?

OK...I am in NO way advocating starving oneself to get thin, but this has always bugged me. Magazines and health professionals, etc, always say that if you stop eating, or eat very little, your body will start storing fat and you will gain instead of lose weight. However, if you look at anorexics and starving people around the world, I think it becomes apparent that it is OVEReating as we do here that makes one OVERweight. Is there actual science behind any of this, or is it propaganda attempting to insure that less girls will fall into the horrible trap of anorexia??? Just curious if anyone else has any thoughts on this...

i am on a strict diet to lose weight so i dont have to get a coronart bypass surgery. did i eat too much today? i woke up and ate 4 cans of corned beef hash and 16 eggs. i washed it down with two mcdonald's mcflurries and a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin on my way to work. for lunch, i had 14 hot pockets and 3 of those danish things from a vending machine and about 7 dr. peppers. for dinner i had 6 lbs. of salted pork, 4 lbs. of beef, 3 lobsters, 6 lbs. of shrimp, 4 baked potatoes, and 3 pieces of broccoli smothered in cheese. for dessert i had 18 packets of jello topped with 2 cans of whipped cream and a jar of cherries. for exercise, i walked to the refridgerator and back to the coach 13 times and had vigorous sex with my bull-dyke lover arnolda.

For example, I have an insatiable need to eat sunflower seeds, icecream, pickles, and tv dinners. All the time. In fact, I cannot stop eating sunflower seeds. Once I start eating them, it is like trying to tell an alcoholic to stop drinking in mid gulp. What causes this?

I really dont like my body right and I want to loose weight. Can you tel me some fast simple steps. Im only 14 and I have school, homework, etc. Can walking really help you loose weight?
