If you're going into highschool, I would definitely reccomend joining a team. Cross country specifically, because even if you're terrible, like myself, it does amazing stuff to help lose weight. Plus if you exercise and get your heart pumping for 30 minutes every day, it speeds up your metabolism, so the food doesn't sit there for long.
The other really really simple step that I would reccomend, it helped me lose weight before I started highschool is:
Don't eat if you aren't hungry.
Don't eat if you're bored, thats the worst idea.
If you feel hungry, try drinking water first, lots of people mistake hunger for thirst.
If you eat lunch/dinner slowly, you'll find that you're probably full before you finish your food, so stop eating once you're full.
If you're snacky, try fruits and vegetables.
But don't kill yourself on a diet, because diets are proven to not work. 98% of people that go on diets gain all the weight back within a year.
Basically you could eat whatever you want, but only when you are actually hungry.

you already have an idea were it is coming from, First change your diet. become more active, eat breakfast and lunch which I eat like it is dinner then dinner something light.(try to eat around the same time so your body will get use to the time it eats that way it would store fat if ou didn't know the body store fat when it don't know when it is going to eat) what ever you choose to eat it needs to be in moderation. each at reasonable times don't eat late at night if you have too eat, eat carrots or something. what I do to CUT my appetite, I make fruit slushies usually with no milk or I would use coconut milk it it needs a sweetener I would use Honey. I freeze the fruit or put cut fruit in blender with water and ice. I would drank about 2 a day. when you are use to eating allot or really larger proportion your body gets use to that, so what I did was eat smaller proportions and drank more fluids and like water and the fresh fruit slushies.
crushes every day running or walking 3 times a day will definitley help. remeber the body starts to burn fat after 20 minutes of a work out. Our brain is an incredible thing, think thin you will became thin, follow you regimen.

1) You don't say how much you weigh and how tall you are so I can't say if you really need to lose weight or not. In this vein, you should see a doctor, he can properly assess whether you're too heavy for your height.
2) You can't spot reduce, weight comes off from all over, so if you want to lose 10 lbs, for example, from your stomach, arms and hips, you may have to lose 30 lbs total which will come from all over.
3) The basic formula isn't rocket science....decrease your intake and increase your output.
4) The final word is SEE YOUR DOCTOR. He will be able to safely assess how much weight you need to lose, or even if you need to lose any at all.

I guess u should start with Brisk walk ...for about 15 minutes . Gradually increase the time duration accordingly . I recommend u nothing else then a good JOG in the park . Believe me I have lost 10 kilos in span of 2 months ...and also good abs workout will proove beneficial ...

Use what is called the French diet...saw this on Oprah...women in France are much thinner because they eat less and enjoy every meal. They eat their meals slower and in smaller portions. They don't have cravings for certain foods because they enjoy every meal. When you eat your favourite dish one would tend to scarf the thing down and wait for seconds but if it really IS your favourite dish then one small serving is all you need to enjoy it. Don't forget to dine in elegance for your meals so that ENJOY them. Also, they walk to all the places that they need to go. This is more of a psychological way of going about losing weight.

You want to lose wieght right? Try to cut your carbs.Like bread,white stuff...........etc.If you cut carbs, by the end of the summer you will lose about 20 pounds."Another Thing",....BALLY TOLLY FITNESS IS GREAT. You only have to do it about three times a week. If you cut carbs and join that gym, I can almost guarentee you will lose the wieght you want by the end of the summer. Good Luck

hey there! yeah, walking is really good. also riding your bike...etc. hmm....pilates is a really good work out video. I recommend it. i really liked it, it helped, and it made me feel more energized. also, don't JUST excercise...don't forget to eat fruits and veggies too...cause those definately help. Hope it all works out! =)
