Hell, at least you're somewhat reasonable about it. Some people want these results in days.
Well, if you've only got 50 bucks a week, that's good because it means you can buy less food. Actually, what I would recommend you do is hit an organic market and buy a few good, high-quality foods. Blow all your 50 bucks on yummy stuff from the place. Some suggestions are organic cereals (lots of good varieties here), organic chicken noodle soup, and Amy's organic frozen meals. On 50 bucks a week you can eat well and still lose alot of weight. Since organic stuff tends to be a little more expensive, you'll also buy less food...which in this case is a good thing.
Also get plenty of exercise. Just load up a cd/mp3 player with some good jams and walk a few laps around the neighborhood. The music will make the time fly and walking is excellent for losing weight. As far as water, try alternating between mineral water (I highly recommend Topo Chico mineral water - a Mexican import) and distilled water.
I lost 60 pounds myself this way in a short amount of time. Good

If you are still in school, I assume that you are a minor, or did you mean college? In any case, 30 pounds is a lot but managable weight to lose in 7 weeks if you get on a good regimen now. Consult a dietitian about your eating habits, and what is the best to change, in your diet and exercise routine. I would say that it is going to take a concentrated effort every day to lose weight, with aerobic exercise at least 5 times a week (like running, swimming, biking for 20 mins. or more.) I don't know your body type or metabolism rate so I can't fully advise you on what to eat or not to eat. Just stay away from fattening, fried foods and fast food. Try eating lots of vegetables and juices instead of pop. (One pop can be 300 calories which is a lot if you are on a 1500-2000 calorie diet.) Cut out or at least down your sweets, and your white food products (like pasta, white bread, and potatos), substitute whole wheat which takes your body more energy (think calories) to break down and doesn't convert it to fat if it is not used like white food is. Whatever you do, don't skip breakfast, as your body will store more fat, thinking it is in a starving mode. Eat protien with every meal, like cottage cheese, chicken or tuna. Try drinking 8 cups of water a day. You could also keep track of your calories and fats, especially saturated fats since they are the bad fats. Stay within 1500-2000 calorie, with 15 grams of fat as maximum. But like I said I don't know your starting weight, or your regular food intake, but this is for the average person. You can contact me for more info. if you like, or just to be encouraged if your weight plateaus and I can give you more ideas.

If you can't afford a dietitian consult, you could start a diet like Atkins or South Beach, which are some of the same principles as I have listed above.

Sure! Use apple cider vinegar in your cooking daily on every food, cut out breakfast. Plus only a small lunch if you only need it or cut it out too. Drink water, coffee, tea or pulp free fruit juice and have a large covered cup of filtered water by your bedside to drink throughout the night. P.S. Drink a cup of filtered O2 is an excellent brand of oxygenated water then Run on the spot for 1 minute daily when you wake. Then drink a cup more of filtered water. Please tell me your weekly results every 7 days now. Thanks! lenbless@yahoo.com

Yes, you need to pick up a sport. Like running or biking. Not a team sport because then you share your excercise with you team. Try running and lifting weights. Also you need to eat healthy. Have a salad for lunch and cereal for breakfest. Try it.
