the simplest way to say it is:
take in less than you consume
that way you'll run on the reserves you've stockpiled.
But thats a simplistic way to see it. What I would do if I had to lose a bunch of weight is I would pay close attention not to eat any unhealthy foods, and particularly in eccessive quantities, and start an exercise regimen. The food part is the trickiest. With excersise its easy, because if you're out of shape a simple one hour walk every day (at a very comfortable pace) would suffice to get started. Once you're getting into a rythm of walking every day for an hour, switch to jogging and walking every two days instead of just walking. Once that gets easyer, walk jog every day, eventually cut out the walking part, or, keep it, it can be just as efficient. The most important thing is to not get discouraged, because these things take time, like a long time, there is no easy solution to being over weight. My brother has been trying to lose weight for years and it has been a really trying process. My mother in law just had gastric bypass surgery and even though she hasn't admitted it, she's upset that she hasn't lost any real weight yet, because there is no quick fix! Stay committed, and best of luck. Oh, for support consult a dietician, they're great, and if you can, join a gym, not one of those really commercial pushy sales type ones, and you can probably consult a trainer for free a few times.

Use what is called the French diet...saw this on Oprah...women in France are much thinner because they eat less and enjoy every meal. They eat their meals slower and in smaller portions. They don't have cravings for certain foods because they enjoy every meal. When you eat your favourite dish one would tend to scarf the thing down and wait for seconds but if it really IS your favourite dish then one small serving is all you need to enjoy it. Don't forget to dine in elegance for your meals so that ENJOY them. Also, they walk to all the places that they need to go. This is more of a psychological way of going about losing weight.

This is based on a 150-pound person: you may need to cut more/ fewer calories depending on ur weight, age & gender. It also assumes your normal calorie intake essentially stays the same and your weight is stable.

2. Balance Booster - While u brush ur teeth, alternate standing on 1 leg as u switch mouth quadrants(every 30 seconds). BURNS 10
3.Be a Ballerina - As ur coffee drips, stand sideways, put 1 hand on the counter, and lift the outside leg straigh out in front of u, keeping it extended. With upper body straight, hold for a few sec.s and move it to the side: hold and extend it behind u. Do 5x on each leg. BURNS 10

if ur fat then tats a good question!!! lolzz....but if ur sireaes then go on a diet but dont lose tooo much weight then ull hav anorexia
