I have always had boarderline high blood pressure, but reccently it has gotten so high that I have had to be put one medication. I know what foods to avoid, like salt, and fatty foods, but I don't know what I should be eating.

Are there certain foods that will lower your blood pressure? Also, what other things can I do to lower it?

I am a 30 year old woman, who works out 3-4 times a week at the gym (cardio and resistance training) and I have a relatively healthy diet. My goal weight is 60 kg (132 pounds) and I am currently 69kg (150 pounds).

For me it is almost like an alcoholic drink & I make sure that I burn the little calories by jogging almost every day. Does carbonated coke reduce bone strength there by leading to arthritis? Please give proper scientific reason why I really get a "kick" after consumption. Caffene?

So far I know that I should heep the tip of my toungue at the roof of my mouth to keep a constant flow of saliva, not to have my mouth open, and keep a straight back so my lungs aren't cramped. But is there anymore? And I also heard about "Diaphragm Control," what is that and how does it work?

If not, what is a better workout routine for 3-4X/wk? I do not have a health club membership, so I rely on the free outdoors, but prefer to run/walk only. I am slowly building up my endurance as I just started a month ago and have not previously exercised in the past. I am 25 y/o & 108 lbs. I know I am not overweight, but just a year ago I used to fit into my size 0 pants, not anymore! Also, I'd like to exercise for health purposes too.

I want to be able to KEEP the weight off--not put it back on the following 2 days. I do exercise every day for 1 hr., eat mostly a vegetarian diet, no coffee, no cigs, no drugs. It's just that I have a class reunion coming up and would like to be the same weight as when I graduated 40 yrs. ago. Yea, I'm vain but I want to look the best I can. Wouldn't you, truthfully?
