In my advice, that is a very good workout plan. However, it must be fueled by free will power. It is easy to write about somthing that you are going to do, but it is harder to do that thing. Encourage yourself by taking someone with you. The weight that you will lose depends on who you are. Everyone loses weight differently, since everyone is unique in how they functions. For example take me. I would eat a cow in one day and I would not be able to gain any weight. Some people are different. I am very confident that you will lose quite a bit of weight but I'm not sure how much. Only time can tell.

The previous answers are not entirely accurate. Based on your question, the best answer is that it totally depends on how fast you walk and run. That determines how much energy you expend and calories you burn. The comment about diet is partially right because you count what you take into your body and subtract what you expend from it. So if you eat more than you exercise, you will still gain weight.

Anyway, if you run/walk slightly uphill and at a pace that is just strenuous for you, it should help you burn calories. If you go slowly, it won't do very much indeed.

Well.....it's a good start, I would suggest doing at least 20 minutes 3x a week. How much weight you lose depends on how/if you change your eating habits. If you don't you'll probably lose about a pound or 2 every few weeks if you do change how you eat you'll lose even more. Also after a while your body gets used to it so you'll have to kick it up a notch or switch up your routine to keep losing weight compared to maintaining

It's a good start, and you can increase it over time as you get into better shape. The intensity of the workout will determine the amount of weight you lose, as well as what you do with your diet.

A reduction in 3500 calories in a week will result in 1 pound of lost fat. Your exercising will increase muscle mass which is heavier than fat. Try measuring your body and keeping track of lost inches instead of pounds. How hard your work out would determine the number of calories burned. Good Luck!

It's a good start, but consider making it 30 min each.

How much weight is not only about this, it's also about how much you eat...
You'll lose weight when your total calories per day are negative comparing to how much you burn.
