Okay so I have never been a meatball eatting person, but this past christmas I went with my mom to her office christmas party, they had a caterer and one of the items they had was Swedish Meatballs.... I imediatley feel in love! My question, does anybody know of an easy recipe used by caterers that I could convert to a crock pot recipes and when I have the time an oven recipe? actually I'm not even sure if they go in the oven! lol But I do know they had a creamy sauce that kinda reminded me of a cream of mushroom soup. Thanks anybody who can help me!

I really love baking but have recently become more aware of what I am making. What is spelt flour like with baking? How does it taste?
Is there a baking alternative to brown sugar? I use evaporated cane juice crystals instead of sugar and it works great.

The recipe I can't find didn't even call for the fruit to be cooked beyond the barest simmer (with a little sugar and lemon). Can anybody share a favorite recipe for summer pudding that involves no cooking or minimal cooking? I have a flat full of beautiful ripe berries that won't last past tomorrow. THANKS!

I'd like to slow cook some chicken tomorrow in my le creuset dutch oven at 190 for about 8 hours. What do you suggest. My pantry is pretty slim right now.

In my kitchen, I have:
4 bone in chicken breasts
1 large can of stewed plum tomatoes
onion
carrots
mushrooms
broccoli
fresh green beans
red and yellow peppers
beef and chicken broth
millet, quinoa, rice, buckwheat groats
various spices, condiments, vinegars and dressings

I am looking for a recipe that my husband's mom used to make. It is chicken or turkey with noodle dumplings. He explains it as being a thick gravy(not soup). Also he remembers her rolling out the dumplings like noodles and they expanded. They were maybe a couple inches long. He also said that he doesn't believe it had vegetables in it. She passed away and didn't leave any of her recipes and I would love to make these for him. I have searched the internet already and can't seem to find anything, the recipes I've tried haven't been what he remembers. If you have anything like this please help. Thanks in advance.
