i had a meal that was quite strange the other night. i have been sick and haven't really had much of an appetite, but this one night, i was really hungry.
i had a peanut butter and red plum jelly sandwich on french toast instead of plain bread with bbq potato chips on the side.
my husband thought i was crazy, but it tasted so good at the time. i don't think i would ever have it again though...

I love two mexican dishes in particular, one that turnes some peoples stomachs, the other just seems odd. I think they are both good.

Menudo - a soup made of Beef tripe, hominy, pigs feet, chili powder. Serve with a side of fresh diced onion and oregano.

Mole' - Chicken stew made with peanuts, peanut butter, and un sweetened cocoa powder.

That's not a meal, & certainly not balanced.
Too many carbs, (bagel & potatoes)
Pickles are not enough vegetables.
Too little protein in cream cheese.
Too much fat & sugar in ice-cream.
