I just made chocolate fudge and it came out too thick. I cooked the sugar and butter part just fine, but when I added chocolate chips and marshmallow I may have added too much. So it didn't pour into the pan it was just way too thick. The good news is when I taste it , it's great , not crystalized or sugary at all. And if I put it in the microwave it is super creamy and very good. Aside from putting in all in the microwave, is there anyway to bring out the creamy soft texture or is it too late?

All I remember it that is has avocados, crushed pineapple, lime jello, cool whip and walnuts. I don't know how much of what though. I purchased this yesterday so it hasn't been sitting in my fridge for a week or anything. I took a sniff and it doesn't smell great, but when I've made recipes before with the shoulder, I haven't exactly bent down and taken a big whiff. Any advice would be great, the supermarket is closed and this dish is supposedly getting served tomorrow ... Thanks!

I'm living by myself in February and need a cookbook of basic, quick meals so I don't eat frozen dinners every night! One with PICTURES would be best! I have Rachael Ray's 30 min meals book, but it doesn't have pictures so I don't know what the names of most of the foods mean so it's too confusing for me! haha.

Many recipes say to just melt the chips, but my friend says it will work better if I add shortening (crisco, not butter). How much is enough? And can I use butter, or must it be shortening, or can I just melt the chips by themselves? Thanks for the help!

Back in the 70's you could get at a (now defunct) grocery store in the deli section. It was a cream cheese spread and sooo delicious. Does anyone know how to get started? Not afraid of making my own recipe but I don't know where to start.
