I just made chocolate fudge and it came out too thick. I cooked the sugar and butter part just fine, but when I added chocolate chips and marshmallow I may have added too much. So it didn't pour into the pan it was just way too thick. The good news is when I taste it , it's great , not crystalized or sugary at all. And if I put it in the microwave it is super creamy and very good. Aside from putting in all in the microwave, is there anyway to bring out the creamy soft texture or is it too late?

I just checked it this morning and it's soft now,, sort of and it taste very good not dry but not fluffy soft, it's still pretty dense. Now all I really need at this point is for it to look pretty so I can give it out. The top looks all bumpy not smooth. Any suggestions for making the top smooth...would a hot knife work?

You could try stirring it continually over hot water, getting it to the texture/consistency you desire.

Place the fudge into a bowl, and place this bowl either into another bowl of boiling water or over a saucepan of boiling water on the stove top.

Good luck, and enjoy!
