I would like to be able to come home from my trip next week and not have to worry about making the pre baked pie crust for my custard pie. Because I don't have much time. So is it possible to pre bake the pie crust tomorrow and then refrigerate it or freeze it for a week???

I'm making a cooked strawberry pie that needs fresh strawberries. I bought them a few days ago & now the are half frozen & look dehydrated when I cut into them. What can I do?

I just baked some cup cakes ( added frosting) and a pan of brownies for a potluck @ work (tomorrow), can I leave them in my kitchen counter ( room temp) or store them in the fridge. I want to keep them 'fresh'. Any suggestion?

Okay, to practice our Spanish, in my extra Spanish classes I have been told to find a recipe for something and demonstrate it.

It doesn't have to be Spanish - it can be any type of food - all I need to do is find a nice simple recipe with not too many ingredients, and then I can translate it into spanish to present to the class.

I have to make it myself in front of the class and it there won't be an oven available (but we will be able to store things in a fridge)

So, it has to be:

1)Quite quick
2) Simple - not too many ingredients
3) Made without using an oven
4) Not too dull, nothing like "cheese on toast" or "jam sandwich"
5) Quite cheap, I don't want to spend loads on a piece of Spanish homework!

I'm making a sweet potato casserole and I used brown sugar instead of white that the recipe called for. Will it be okay?
