I'm making a cooked strawberry pie that needs fresh strawberries. I bought them a few days ago & now the are half frozen & look dehydrated when I cut into them. What can I do?

I am sorry but they won't come back to life. You can disquise the inperfections with putting diluted jam or glaze over the top but it will not look fresh. Don't worry a hungry croud will eat it. Happy Thanksgiving.

Well, chances are if your cooking the pie itself , it will not matter that they look this way becz during the cooking process the color and texture of a strawberry changes dramaticly. In fact the more ripe the sweeter they will be. I would'nt worry with it.
