I just baked some cup cakes ( added frosting) and a pan of brownies for a potluck @ work (tomorrow), can I leave them in my kitchen counter ( room temp) or store them in the fridge. I want to keep them 'fresh'. Any suggestion?

Since you've already frosted them the counter to keep the frosting from hardening make sure that they are well covered. To perserve apperences you can put a few toothpicks in the baked goods to keep the plastic wrap from ruining the frosting.

for me the best is a mix of counter and fridge time...i find if left totally on the counter covered you will get persipration of the frosting which will cause it to "bleed" into the cake below.

its hard to say how long for you..since your temperatures are different then mine..but trial and error

Leave them on the counter, covered after they cool.
