They are good with a dash of pepper, but even better if sprinkle in some onion salt! Makes them have a great flavor you can eat with or without gravy! Happy Turkey Day!

In my opinion: ABSOLUTELY Mashed potatoes should always, without question, be seasoned with salt and pepper. But I like mine on the peppery side, so I always grate some fresh black pepper on my potatoes as well. That, or when I make some I grate a lot in, more than most recipes call for anyway. Salt and pepper really bring out the flavors of just about any prepared meal.

Absolutely! Pepper addes great flavor to mashed potatoes.

And to answer your question about the stuffing in or out of the bird... outside. By the time you get the stuffing temperature to the correct degrees, the turkey itself will be overcooked. You don't want a dry bird.

Gosh, does everybody love pepper? My mom put pepper in the mashed potatoes, I couldn't stand it . . . can't you just put the peppershaker on the table?

No black pepper, I mash pototes with fresh cream or milk & butter, sea salt, a pinch of sugar & a little bit of white wine, ... may be some grated parmesan cheese too.

It is a personal preference. I like them with a little pepper, adds a little flavor and color.

I like a little mustard, a little cheese and a little pepper. Try them with different things in and find out what you prefer. If you don't tyr you never know!
