You sure are. With 2 hours to go you want to make sure you don't end up with a black turkey. Wait until about 20 to 30 minutes to go and you can take the foil off and baste the turkey with the juices that are in the roaster so it will be golden and gorgeous to serve.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Take the temp on the inside to see what is going on there, you don't want a done outside but not so done inside. The ideal internal temperature should be a minimum of 165. If the temp on the inside if right where you need it to be than turn the oven down but keep basting if it's not a self baster. With about 1/2 hour to go, turn the oven back to 325, pull of the foil and let it crisp up. Just keep a close eye on it.

That's cool. It will be fine. I put foil over mine as well. Also, baste every 1/2 hour. It will be yummy!!!!! Don't worry....it won't dry out.

Sounds good to me! The skin will not get overdone if you've covered it with foil, and the meat inside will have more time to cook.
