put a raw potato in it, this draws out the salt.
This also works if your soup is too salty`

The only thing you can do is dilute it with some water, then add some cornstarch or flour to rethicken it. Make sure you mix the thickener first in a cup with a little water to make a paste then add more water so you can slowly pour it into the gravy. If you don't do it like that you will just have a big thick globs in your gravy. Make sure to keep stirring it til it comes back to a full boil. Good luck! and Happy Thanksgiving!

If your gravy is too salty, stick a peeled potato in it. It will absorb the excess salt.

Get a large or 2 medium peeled, raw whole potatoes and let them BOIL in the gravy for awhile. They'll absorb the extra salt. Never fails.

Stick a peeled potato inside and it will absorb the salt. If you want, you can cut it and stir so it can kinda "swim" around and pick up the salt faster. But don't cut it too small unless you don't plan on taking the potato out!
