I'm making tapenade for a party. For those who don't know, it's a dip/spread made from ground up olives, garlic, onion, tomato, and vinegar. Does anyone know how well it keeps in the fridge and for how long?

I have discovered that we live in a very mayo-happy country here in the US. So many times I have ordered sandwiches asking them to hold the mayo only to bite into them and be very unpleasantly suprised. Have you had similar experiences? Why are the mayonnaise haters so discriminated against? I for one would love to know!!

I hate mayo. When I worked at Subway years ago, I always kept my own jar of Miracle Whip for my turkey sandwiches.

I like sweet relish, and my husband likes dill relish. What do you prefer?
And for a garnish along with the paprika...green olives or black olives?

We don't use alcohol at all, and so many tempting recipes incorporate bourbon...I'd appreciate recipes that don't use any liquor or offer yummy substitutes.
