Dill relish with grey poupon, mayo, green olives, paprika, with a sprinkle of curry powder, but not to much.

I also like the sweet relish, I think it compliments the mayonaise and yolk much more than the dill. Black would most likely not be as salty as green and again, thier mild flavor would not over power the other ingredients, whether you used dill or sweet relish.
Maybe if you sprinkled a little dill weed as garnish it would have enough dill flavor for him. Probably not, but it could work...lol!
Now I am hungry for deviled eggs, I need to go start some water!

I don't put any relish in my devilled eggs. I like to use a little fine grated onion.
As for garnish, skip the olives! Use the paprika and a small piece of green onion.
hmm...think i like onions?

Either sweet relish with green olives or dill relish and black olives.
That way the flavors contrast nicely. If you did dill + green olive for instance, it might be too salty.
Normally I make it with dill relish, no olive.

I like the sweet relish cause it seems to give them more flavor. I usually just put paprika on them but if I was to put olives on them I'd have to go with the black since they're my favorite of the two.

Sweet Relish------but the real flavor comes from fresh chopped DILL. I use sweet relish, dill, mayo, mustard, hot sauce and black pepper. Sprinkled paprika on top

neither as i use Dijon mustard an like to tube the egg mixture in the eggs and relish and dill wont go thru the tube with out getting stuck and it kills the good taste of the mustard with the mayo....i have garnished with a slice of dill or sweet gherkin olives whatever is handy if i use it......and i like just a pinch of cayenne pepper instead of paprika... as i have heard before wham.......but these are only my personal preferences .....but if i take to a party i guess everyone will eat them or go without...

The dill relish, it gives it more of a tang.
I usually only garnish with paprika, don't care for olives.
You could use parsley as an alternative or even better, fresh snipped chives.
