It keeps very well in the fridge for 3-4 days in a well sealed container.
In fact, I would suggest making it a day ahead of time so that it has time for the flavours to meld. It's much better than when it's freshly made.

Real tapenade never has tomatoes, nor onions.
These are the traditional ingredients, in the proportions you prefer:
Black olives
Capers
Garlic
Oregano
Olive oil
Anchovies are usually added too, but tapenade will taste just as good without.
This tapenade will keep in jar several days, escpecially if topped with extra olive oil.
Adding tomatoes, and onions, would probably make it unfit for consumption by the next day.

Should be good in the fridge for at least a week, I would recommend spreading it flat, then putting a thin layer of olive oil over the surface of the tapenade, then cover with plastic wrap or a lid. The oil will keep it from getting crusty and drying on top.

You can make your tapenade at least a week ahead. Good idea as it will meld flavours. Bring it out early enough to be at room temp. when served. Do not use onion, it will ferment and sour the tapenade. If you use tomato make sure they are sun-dried in oil not fresh [too much liquid and too little flavour] Original tapenade contains capers, "tapeno" means caper. Your recipe does not have them, add some instead of onion. This our recipe:
1 cup pitted olives
2 cloves garlic chopped
3 anchovy fillets
1/4 tsp grated lemon rind very fine
1/2 tsp mixed dried herbs
Black ground pepper
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes in oil [save the oil]
blend everything, except pepper, lemon juice, tomatoes and the reserved oil, until you have rough paste.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend to required consistency.

Tapenade will keep in a jar in the fridge for a couple of weeks in the unlikely event that you don't eat it all at once.

It keeps pretty well in the fridge for a couple days if you cover it really well with something like plastic wrap or a tight seal like on tupperware.
