Me & my boyfriend have been dating for almost 3 months (Since May 5th, 2007). Me & him aren't engaged yet but, I'm really hoping we will be here in the next year or two. That means I'll either be 15 or 16 years old. We would like to get married once I turn 18.

Yes, you may think that my relationship will not last because I'm only 14. But, I truely believe it will & I'm not just saying that. I love this guy to death & I do believe our relationship will last for a while. I am very mature for my age & I do understand a relationship and I know what love is.

Please don't tell me, just live your life, or any crap like that. I just want to know if you think it would be wrong for a 15/16 y/o to be engaged.

I also understand that I would not be able to get married until I'm 18 but, we could be engaged for 2-3 years.

I'm already throwing out these ones:

Being given away. Women today are not property. It's just degrading to be given away.

Being walked down the aisle by my father only. Again, this relates back to being a man's property and where's mom?

Throwing the bouquette, like every single woman wants to be herded up like cattle ready to catch the 'magical flowers of weddings.'

The veil, apparently this one relates back to protecting a woman's 'innocence' or 'purity' from other men who might find her beautiful on her wedding day. Well, women are not weak creatures who are easily seduced. I can hold my own.

Being pronounced 'man and wife' instead of 'husband and wife'. That's just obvious.

I admit, I don't know much about weddings, since I don't like 'em, but I'm having one, so what are some other traditions that go on during weddings that should be kicked to the curb in the name of self respect?

My younger sister is getting married after 11 years, two kids, and buying a house. After planning several weddings wasted money on reservations, invitations, and dresses and never following through she wants me and my kids to come to see her get married. Problem is money is tight for me as a single parent, she lives twelve hours away and who knows she might get in a fight w/ her boyfriend again ans cancel at the last minute again. I do not care for her boyfrined at all becasue he has always made negative commentsto me and about me and both of them are very foul mouth curseing each and every other word and constantly argueing with one another and screaming at their kids. This is the only sister I have, but I hate to waste my time if she cancels, and I have little room for drama that may jump off if they act out (as she is very stressed out). I just found out that other family members who were invited are not coming for the same reasons (been togethere forever, and their drama, cursing)

I have a friend who's fiance's family lives out of state and won't be able to make it to her shower. She asked me if it would be wrong to ask her soon to be mother in law to throw her a shower where they are. I told her it wouldn't be right, but I understand her point. Especially since the mom might not be able to come to the other one. What do you think?

Is it bad luck to take off your engagment ring? I've heard if you do so, they only person who can replace it is the person who gave it to you. Is this true?

I take my jewelery off at night, in the shower, while cleaning and sometimes at work (my job can get messy)?

I don't want my ring to get dirty (the diamond gets cloudy when exposed to soap and such). Should I take it off or is it bad luck?

I had a bridal shower and all my wedding girls were there except for one. her excuse was she was sick and she never called, not even the day after. Should I be mad at her? Should I expect the same behavior come wedding time? Should I worry that she wont show up?

I am a very emotional person. I'm very close to my mother...I'm still living at home with my parents, I'm not moving in with my husband until we're married! So my question is...I know I'm going to be an emotional wreck on my wedding day, because I'll be very happy but also sad to leave my parents (I'm the youngest girl of 5 kids if this helps). For those of you who are married, are there any tricks to hold back the tears? I don't want to be crying allll day and right now thats how I think it might be!

It seems to me that people nowadays are either together for just a little bit before they're engaged or together for a really long time before their engaged. Same goes for the actual engagement. Some for two years or more and some for just a few months to a year. Married and engaged folks, what are your numbers. Just curious.

I've been to almost 20 friend's wedding parties before and just relocated to a new town and get married. How can I collect their gifts without holding a party?

If I just send out a notice and a wishlist to them would that be awkward?

I gave most of them gifts in their weddings before and now I want some back...thanks for any advice

Ok I'm a bit confused if I should wear white for my wedding.

This will be my first marriage, however, I did have a previous 10 year relationship with another man. That relationship fell apart and I finally found the man of my dreams.
Now, my parents know I am not a virgin and are questioning if its right for me to wear white for my wedding and a half-vail. They think I should wear an off white or even beige color due to the previous relationship and the amount of time I was in it as it could technically be seen as a common law marriage.

His parents are catholic and know nothing of my previous relationship where I lived with a guy for 10 years. (My fiance does know about my past relationship.) His parents know that this is my first marriage and I know they are looking forward to seeing him marry a bride in white as he is their only child and this will be his only wedding.

I personally want to wear white but I'm not sure if its appropriate.

My husband and I just got married 7 weeks ago. I know that marriage isn't just about the wedding that it is about spending life together...but since the wedding i've been feeling a bit depressed. It's like all of this time and energy went into planning the wedding...I wasn't a crazy bride with crazy details I was relaxed and happy. All of the time leading up to the wedding was filled with joy and excitement...I never once was stressed or sad. The wedding day was perfect...it was everything anyone could ever hope or wish for. But now I feel like it is a let down. All of the preparation and excitement for one day and in the blink of an eye it is gone. I just put on my dress again and it made me cry. Our life now is filled with the everyday mundane tasks. Really there is no excitement. Is this normal to feel this way or is there something wrong with me?

My family has decided to look for a house in New Hampshire. My husband just retired so we don't have to go anyplace specific. Every where i go online i need to know the exact city we want to move to.
We want a website that will show any/all houses avalible in New Hampshire without having to go threw an entire list of cities. Is there any place online i can go to see every house up for sale in NH?

We have found the perfect engagement ring on Isreali Jewellers. It would be an internet purchase.
Can anyone recommend them? I found the perfect ring, really unusual, but am hesitant about buying on line.
Thanks
