Why did you get married, and how is your relationship now? I'm simply curious to see the reasoning behind your decision.

I do not want to be with my husband anymore. I am not in love with him and I am convinced that it is the right decision. My problem is I have a sick baby girl that will require a lifetime of medical care. He keeps telling me not to leave b/c he wants to take care of us and it would be too hard on her (she's 12 months old). I feel that since I am not happy with him, she will be better off if we are not together. Need some advice, sorry if I've been too vague. Is is possible to fall out of love & absolutely not want to be married anymore? I've talked to a counselor & he thinks it's b/c of the situation with my child. I know better though, I've felt this way for a long time. Thanks for any advice. My personal feeling on this is that life's too short to be unhappy & worry about someone elses feelings as opposed to my happiness. (Ex. staying with him b/c I feel bad leaving)

I am 23 and my fiance is 28. He is a wonderful man and is so good to me. He has a 7 year old daughter. He loves her very much and so do I. Before I met him, 1 1/2 years ago there was this woman and they had a short good time together and now she's told him that she's had his daughter. So, now he has two girls from two different mothers.

He is a great man and hates the fact that he has a daughter like this out of wedlock. I tell him that I love him very much but it's hard for me to think how we are going to tell other people about his two daughter from two different mothers especially my parents.

He tells me that I should stop worrying about what others think. That what matters is us and I shouldn't worry about saying it and hiding the facts is just wrong.

Would you feel embarassed by letting friends and family know about your spouses two kids from two different mothers or not? Any advice will be appreciated, thank you~

SEASONS GREETINGS~

At what moment did you decide you wanted to get married to your wife? What made you choose her over all your other past relationships? Do you regret your decision to marry her?

Please ladies do not respond. All women say the same thing and it is usually something cheesy and romantic. I want a mans perspective.

Hey... thought i may need a lil advice if you could please.
I'm a depressed person on tablets every day with hardly any friends and i am bi-sexual...
...but i have vowed to change for the New Year for the first time but it is going to be really hard, i want to be a more confident, friendly, happy person with a date!
I know it is going to be extremely hard.... i have already seen a psychiatrist but that hasn't really changed things.
I was just wondering if any of you had any useful advice for me.
This would be incredibly helpful everyone.
ThankYou so much for your answers x

Guys, when you were thinking about proposing, did the idea of being in her family, ( which you hate for this question) bother you?did it stop you?

Girls and guys, did your partners family change your decision to get married? do their family drive your nuts? If a yes to this, then why did you guys marry? doesnt it effect your love?

Being married for 3 1/2 years and ironically my wife has spend half of that overseas staying with her mother at times we were 7 months apart and two weeks ago she has left again for 2 months. Now I am thinking with what of a marriage it has really been with even a suspect of infidility on her behalf while I remained loyal and trustful for her, I forgave her for such grounds of infidility though she never confessed. I look back her respect to me and well perhaps that says something. She has her own account which is fine, she does not work though. I can't use he laundry powder, when my 3 children from previous marriage marriage she complains about the food they eat. But what really got me, she not into cleaning the house much and left it mostly for me. I thought well I will see how long it takes to clean the bed sheets (two seperate mattrasses)and the weeks before she left it never got changed though I hated it. When she went I changed them and discovered hers were just been washed.

While he was unpacking I seen pictures of his ex that he has had tucked away.. I was upset because I feel as if he has not completely gotten over her... I know there is nothing between them nor do they talk and if they do its a few sentences that they may send online to one another. I have gotten rid of all my old memories cause I didn't feel a need to bring them into my new house with my new marriage...Should I have him get rid of the pictures or would you say its OK for him to keep them. Personally, I think he has not gotten over this chick...

...get married? I realize it depends on when each person is ready but what would you say is too early? I ask because I have 3 friends that all recently just got engaged. They are all right out of high school and I know for a fact that two of them were only dating the guys they plan to marry for 4-6 months (max.). I personally feel they are making big mistakes taking such a big step so soon in a relationship but realize it is their choice to do so. Any way, I am just wondering what do you think is the earliest a couple should consider getting married? :)

About 3 weeks ago we started going to marriage counseling and is on our 5th session. So far the counseling has been useful, but I do want her to return back home. She said that she is only going to therapy to help me but she still wants a divorce, but she has not file or mention anything about the divorce since our 3rd MC session. The MC thinks that she is calling out divorce as a defense mechanism. We have been together for 8yrs and married for 1 year. No infidelity ,physical abuse, or drug use. Just BAD communication between us.

My wife was the one that wants the divorce because she was "fed up". Even though she thinks that divorce is the best out, she starting to see that going to MC might not be too bad. Again nothing is guaranteed, it seems like she is giving a shot to work on our marriage. How do I get her to come back home? Or should I just give up?

8 yrs is a long time to throw away just because we have bad communications.

And she was, indeed, his wife, and proved it to you with the papers, and he confessed that it was so? And all your guests stared and listened, and you had paid for a grand reception as well?
