What do you think and suggest from your past? Do they really change if they confess.

My 2 years bf started cheating on me and he was sleeping around with that horrible girl. I really feel awful, but after I found, I said I am going to call her to find the truth.
He broke up with me that night. I was mentally depressed, not yet recovered, a year now. He still calls me and says, what a terrible mistake he did.

He broke up with that girl because the girl turned out to be a bad girl, sleeping around with many guys before..etc

What do you think about this person?

My girlfriend is visiting me and I am planning on taking her for a tour of the city since this is the first time she is visiting NYC.

I plan on proposing to her. However, me and her are kinda shaky at the moment. We are still definitely together and loving, but we have a few quarrels between us, that we need to work out. (its a common thing [unfortunately])

I am not sure when i should do it. I know for a fact that she will be VERY happy when i do propose to her, because she is always talking about it..

She arrives in the morning, and leaves next morning. I really want for her to be happy with me the whole time she is here, so i thought i might propose early. but then i realized that it would be more dramatic and meaningful if i did it later in the evening, or right before she was about to leave.

What should i do? should i wait till the next morning or evening and find another way to cheer her up?, or shall i propose right away, so that she can be happy

In his God's Word, the Bible, we read: "Husbands ought to be loving their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself, for no man ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation."—Ephesians 5:28, 29.

The Bible long ago foretold that during "the last days" of this system of things, many would be "abusive," with "no natural affection," and "fierce." (2 Timothy 3:1-3; The New English Bible) The prevalence of spouse abuse is simply another indication that we are living in the very time period designated by this prophecy. But what can be done to support victims of physical abuse? Is there any hope that batterers can change their course of behavior?

This year my husband didn't get me a Christmas present. We have 4 kids, and they were all well provided for, I got him a present, and I really had no idea that he didn't get me a present until Christmas morning. At first I thought he was joking. But he wasn't. He did say later that he felt a bit guilty about not getting Mummy a present. He did buy a Christmas cake that I really loved, and he did make sure we had all the food I like to cook and special extras for the day. Do you think I'm being a bit silly and sentimental for wishing I had a wrapped up present just for me? I know it sounds a bit selfish, but I couldn't help feeling hurt, although I didn't betray that at all, I just said oh don't worry about it. He was working for most of the day, so I was able to get over it more easily. He is a good husband and works hard to provide for us. Do you think it's okay for me to feel sad and hurt? Or silly and sentimental? You can be honest ....I've cried and now my heart can take it!

After over three years and having had a baby together who is now 10 months old, I have decided that I want to leave my parter. I am a very involved mother and do everything possible with my son, when I am not at work. However, my partner has failed to grow up and is still out doing what he pleases. He is very uninvolved. I just no that this is not what I want but I am finding it so hard to walk out the door. Does anyone have any ideas to make it easier for me to leave. Thanks, xox

this is a weird situation. i'm married to a "good" man who i thought loved and cared for us. he turned out to be bipolar, impotent, and a compulsive liar. he hasn't had a drink in the entire time we've been together (5 years) because he "valued" sobriety. because of his unstable personality, i have separated from him. he lives 2,000 miles away, but stays in touch and has been financially supportive. my 13 year old son overheard a conversation in which i told my estranged husband that i was very sad he chose to get drunk last night and i hoped that he would get help. my son asked what was wrong, and i told him that his dad called last night (christmas eve) and left several messages, that he had gotten drunk and that we (my son and i) would continue to move forward with our lives and that we can pray for his dad, but that we can't help him, that we didn't cause it and can't control it. was i wrong to tell him something that further creates disappointment in his dad?

Its been 7 months since the last time she cheated and yet we have done a normal conversation about it. She avoids..couse its uncomfortables she says. My passion is finishing. She dosnt want me to leave..but she dosnt help me understand any of it..she confuses me with sex...and she says if i leave her she kill her self. She was never that warm in bed with me...Why now after this?I feel traped!I'm an average , normal person. I dont do things to hurt my family and i cant find something to deserve this.Although she tries to make me feel guilt about stuff like "you were working too much" or "you werent romantic the last 3/4 months" "i thought you didnt love me" but she never said anything about that before..also didnt gave chance to me "if she felt that way".I will post more questions because i live in a country far from mine and i have none to talk to..

with today's society and the divorce rate, i don't think people view marriage in the same way as they used to. people don't mean the vows they make and therefore they should be changed (i.e the death to us part bit). Personally i am quite cynical and i think marriage is just a piece of paper that people think signifies commitment but in reality if you're in a serious relationship you should be committed to that one person only, anyway (if thats what's agreed). However many women (and maybe men?) still dream of fairytale marriages and get all hung up on whether they are married by a certain age etc. How do people feel about this? Is marriage just about financial benefits?

I am in post-divorce. I was forced to filed bankruptcy and almost lost everything. My ex-wife has violated the court order denying me child visitation. She's falsely accused me of kidnapping. She taunts my son saying lies and other bad things about me in front of him. She's tried to extort money from me aside and is not satisfied with the child support, daycare support , life insurance, health insurance, food, shelter, clothing, etc. that I already provide for my son. She's made attempts to steal (the little time) time I have with my son. He's only 3 years old. Especially holidays that I'm supposed to have with him. This past Christmas, she took both Christmas Eve and Christmas day, my weekend away from me.She has bitter sisters that line up against me, giving her bad advice. I have compiled journals, child visitation violation police reports and have made every attempt to get her to stop, but to no avail, no luck. Her credibility is poor with them. What's your advice? Thank-you

Scenario:
Your a stay at home Mom, married for 9 yrs with young children. Your husband had control issues and was emotional and mentally abusive to you when others were not around. Attended marriage counseling only to find out he was misleading you and the couselors about his feelings towards the marriage. Couselor tells you to make financial arrangements for your future, to go out and find another man, and that they can't understand how you can put with him being so "critical". You start focusing on only you and your children and he suddenly does a 180 with showing of little anger towards you. Things are better but the spark is gone. What would you do?

I am married man, having a kid, and married for near abt 5 years, my wife keep on complaining, that she is not satisfied with me in sex.I am getting finished too early, and she has no more interest doing sex with me. Further to this , she is very controlling in nature, she want to control me possibly in all direction of life, and even for her bad behaviours , if i say some thing to her, she finally uses all abusive language and realize me that i am not doing good in SEX, and finally diverting the direction for all her bad behaviour. She make sure to realize me as and when , that she deserve a good man, but she has to live with me becasue of the kid. When she is in good mood, then she realize what she is doing, but i need to bear all this so many times, and need to act/react as per her mood.. Suggest..

Out there running the kids from pillar to post on both sides of the family. Parents divorced, but logically forced to be together during the holidays (among other times). What a sham! I really feel sorry for the kids. They never asked for this.

ALso do girls like guys that are more experienced so they know exactly how to do it. I mean I dont think many girls would want some one who has no experience in that area

My boyfriend and I broke up recently. He still wanted me around to be his friend but I refused - too painful being around him knowing that I've been demoted from the love of his life to someone he randomly messages when he feels like it.

To stop this from happening, I enforced no contact and I haven't heard from him since, that was over 2 weeks ago. I am so lonely and miserable and desperate and I'm fighting the urge to contact him.

I know that keeping busy will make me feel better, but now the holidays are here and I'm not working I'm going crazy with grief. My family live interstate and my friends are on holidays. Suggestions?

i asked a question about my husband telling his mom he was thinking about giving my car to her and she descided that meant she could pick it up the next day. finding out i was losing my car before our new one was picked upset me. some one told me to obeymy husband! i care for our 3 kids. clean our house, cook all our meals, wait on him hand and foot, i take the money he earns and pay all the bills and buy all the food we need! then i give him what is left and if i feel i want or need something more i ask him because i respect him. i have more than earned my car and the van he is buying to make room for our 4th baby. mark and i discussed what to do with the car when i get the van and he expressed a desire to keep the car for himself to drive back and forth to work while he rebuilds his truck.....something he has wanted to for a while. i agreed with that because he loves that truck and wants it to look awsome! i think i have done well in my efforts to obey and respect him.....

i am tired&sick of him...
im a working mom,we have 2work in order to survive especially we now have a 2years old daughter.
i was assigned in our place so i lived w/ my parents. my daughter is w/ me because my sisters & my mom r the 1 who takes care of her...no one will take care in my husbands place so my daughter is w/ me...
anyway, back to my husband... he gets jealous w/ no reason, whenever i eat lunch or merienda he keeps on asking who is with me during those later&that is everyday...! he will find reason to get mad at me always... and i keep on texting him as long as i am not busy in the office, unfortunately, he get mad whenever i didnt reply, w/out thinking i have no time or i am busy.
every weekend i stay in our house,i do all d household chores&spend time w/ him as much as possible.he is not appreciating my effort although i am very2x tired.I dont hve time 2 rest for that day. all i want is for me to feel that he love&cares 4 me but he kips on nagging!it really upsets me!
