I'd have him and his wife thrown out, take full advantage of the reception and agree with everyone that bad mouthed them.

I would tell the pastor who was presiding over the ceremonies and have him quietly tell everyone there is a problem and the wedding will have to be postponed. Everyone will be curious but no one will call for at least 4-5 hours. By then "your circle of friends will have surrounded you and will tell everyone about the scumbag you almost made a mistake with. Take a deep breath and sigh a big relief because there is probably 2-3 other wives out there. You would be saved the horror of being made a fool.

Well, sounds as if you are lucky to find out now before the ceremony. Otherwise, you would be in a bigger mess with bigamy added to the list. You should thank your guests for coming, kick out his parents and immediate family because they know the truth, too. Then have your party and have all the guests take home their gifts. Consider yourself lucky. He is a bum.

I would gather up all the self-respect I had and leave. I know he loves me and wants me to stay, but I cannot be his mistress. I'm leaving tonight after everyone is asleep. When my money runs out, I don't know what I will do. Bertha has Edward, but at least I have my pride.

I would not allow myself to get in that position, as I took the time to really know my fiance and his background.

Sue him for expenses. Never speak with him again. That's shows the ultimate in disrespect, of and to, the sanctity of marriage, you and god. Thinking about it, i would probably sue him for even more, if posible.
