Marriage & Divorce - 4 December 2007

i got married at 19 and move to texas for my wifes job promotion..before we moved to texas i was in computer school and didnt finish do to the move..so i have an outstanding loan of 7grand and now i finished truck drivers school and have another tuition of 7 grand..the company i worked for screwed my bills and my families comfort so i found a local job that pays the same..i dont wanna go drive cross country now on top of the fact that they screwed me once so y go back..my wifes mad sayin im changing the plans because now i found a local job paying the same amount and ill be home but they dont do tuition reimbersment..i still need my cdl to work at this place so its not going to waste..she says im changen the plans am i wrong? im just trying to provide for whats going on now and fix our bills

I went through a terrible divorce. I was single for almost 2yrs before I met this guy. He is truly a wonderful man. Very good to me, always loving. He was drunk one night & slept with a women from the bar. He does know her though. He has since sent me 20-30 text messages a day explaining how he made a terrible mistake. I really fell in love with him. He says he loves me with all his heart & will do anything to make it up to me. But how does a relationship work if the trust has been broken? I don't know. Can a relationship really last through something like this because we havn't been together very long. Not a very good start. We've not even had one arguement or disagreement. We have alot in common. I need some answers from people who have been in my situation. Thank you so much for your help.

I've been dating my boyfriend for a few months. Right off the bat (after about a week) we were pretty much exclusively a couple. He took me with him out of state for Thanksgiving to meet his family and spend the week out there with him. We always tell each other that we love each other, and we are pretty affectionate together. We get along really well as a couple and as friends.

We are both divorced, he's 36 and I'm 25. He has been saying things like "what did I ever do without you" "I can't imagine being with anyone else" "you are my family" and even "I've decided we should elope to Europe and have kids". The last is kind of a joke, but do you think there is some seriousness to this? I never thought I would even consider marriage again, and yet with him I want to spends out lives together and raise children together. I don't want to bring it up right away, but we both have discussed wanting kids, and he acts more like a husband than a boyfriend anyway.

Im due in January with my first child and my husband smokes Marijuana. I don't think theres anything wrong with Marijuana, but do not do it myself. Neither my husband or I drink we both have strong values against alcohol and it's affects on people and families.

I was raised where drinking and smoking anything was very very wrong so I have never done it myself. Now that im becoming a mother I am seriously worried about my husband smoking weed.

Not because of the traditional values but the fact that if he were to get caught with some on him, we could get reported and have our children taken away?? My husband is a factory worker doing hard labor for 11 hours a day, 6 days a week. Hes been nothing but good to me and he will be a good father.

Im extremely worried about what could happen if he ever got caught... with the work he does its comforting to me to know that marijuana can mellow him out at the end of the day so hes not a jerk.

Im conflicted and need some opinions?

I'm not sure if I am thinking this right or not, but my problem is that my husband just got this new job which pays really well and I work as a med trans at home and have a 1 yr old son. My problem is that my husband does not want to pay all the bills. I don't make as much as he does. One of my checks would be half of what he makes in one check. He makes enough to pay all the bills off of one paycheck and still have some left from it and have another free check towards the end of the month. Since I work at home, i make lunch, have supper, wash clothes, clean, pretty much everything at home Plus still work. Is it fair for me to pay half of the bills, still? I know with the extra amount he will be saving, which is good, but i know its not for us but for himself. Are things suppose to be half and half even when we're married? Please help.

Long story short. My boyfriend has been friends with a female before I came in the picture. In the past she has asked him to do things like shopping w/her and he on occasion has dinner w/her at her restaurant. Last weekend, she hosted a party at her restaurant for another friend. She invited him and he then invited me. Like I anticipated, she kept glancing over at us, and trying to catch his eye. At the end of the evening, they hugged (a little too closely, I think) and he said "I'll try to stop by next week". I didn't say a word to him on the way home and although he didn't say anything, he knew I was ticked off. I know I don't have the right to pick his friends, but I can't help feeling this chick has her claws set on him. I know that if there was something going on, he may not have invited me to the party, but I noticed he wasn't as affectionate as he normally was either. am I worrying for nothing? Thoughts?

I aked this question last night and had some good feed back, I would like to ask it again and get more feed back from everyone.
My girlfriend and i broke up 12 days ago. We had been together for just over four years, that time had been filled with alot of fun and love, a few months back she was 100% commited to me and couldn't imagine her life without me in it, we both felt we would get married in a few years and spend the rest of our lives together. but 2 weeks ago she told me she didn't know how she felt anymore!, she wasn't shaw if she still loved me the same. We decided to break up so she could work out her feelings. She felt she may have to lose me in order to realise how she feels about me. I still love her with all my heart and want her back, im giving her space and havn't contacted her. is their anything else i could possibly do to speed things up and make her see she still loves me without pushing her further away from me?

I have been married for a little over 2 years, and we have a 19 month old son. Well i'm not happy or am i in love with him anymore, i want OUT!! My mom say's to go stay with her for a little while to see if this is what i really want, and i know this is what i want. I went and talked to a lawyer and everything already. There she goes again. I have spend 8 yrs of my life trying to deal with the greatest antagonist of my life. She makes stories abt me that I have another man, coz my husband works overseas. I live in a separate house just one ride from her, she even contracted my neighbors to see if some guys visited me.

She wants to destroy my marriage maybe bcoz he wants his son to send money straight to her. She's making my life miserable. I tried to be a good daughter in law for her but she's making stories to people around me even in my own relatives that I'm the baddest girl of all.

My husband who's working years now overseas knows his mother and gives symphathy on me but can't control how his mother treats me. Sometimes I want to SEPARATE with him to get her fuc**** mother out of my life & I begin to fall out of love w/ him bcoz of his mother although he's the nicest man and seems so much inlove w/ me.

I have been married for 8 years and I am coming to realize that my husband doesn't like me. He would never say it but he hates me. He hates my clothes, my hair, even my pajamas and makeup. Basically anything that isn't tshisrt, jeans and ponytail. He looks at me with disgust and I am not even comfortable around him because I feel like I am constantly being judged. It's humiliating and I am embaressed around him because I can tell he just thinks I look stupid. He says he likes certain things, like a sweater and then later when I put it back on, he looks at me with that look, and it goes into the closet forever. He has told me before that I am not the best looking person he's dated so I feel a need for his approval, but I can't ever get it. Why is he with me if he doesn't like the way I look or dress? I don't want to be the wife who embaresses her husband but I feel like I do.
