Because she just doesn't get it. She needs to go to some counseling or some other kind of help and just face the fact, he's gone and he's not coming back and i have to move on with my life inside of making this an everyday excuse not to get involved with someone else.

Some people have unwavering hope that if it's meant to be, let it go and it will always come back. But after a while, especially after 10 years, I would hope that person would just move on and start living their life.

Because she loves him, even though he probably won't come back true love lasts forever even if only one person is the person that is in love. I know people that have gotten back together after 20 years because it was true love. If you have never been truly in love you can't understand that. If you were you would wait for him forever.

Because she has refused to move on with her life and let anyone else in. It's a shame, he probably doesn't deserve the loyalty she is giving him.
