Our prison system is filled with lying women who killed their husbands and claimed to be battered wives yet never 1 time did they call the police and report it.It's also funny that usually the case is that the wife found someone else and wuld rather kill then to just leave..

As you phrased it no it is not self defense.
"If a man hits a lady" means that the man did strike the woman multiple times in the past.

Because the assault is already over then the death of the man is not being done in the "heat of the moment" and it is not self defense.

Depends very much on the circumstances. Taking it exactly as you've stated, I could say if I physically discipline my child, and then he kills me...... I think you can only use that defense IF he threatened you in such a way you thought he'd kill you e.g. a mugging/rape. If someone's 100 lb husband slapped his 150 lb wife once, and she killed him, I would not agree to the self-defense plea. If someone's husband is abusive, divorce, not murder, is a better option.

it has to be life threatening! If he hits you and then walks away, no you can't kill him! But if you have those thoughts, get the hell out! No woman deserves to be hit! No one! believe me I have dated some wild ones that push a man to his limits but there is no excuse for hitting a women and I don't care if we catch you in bed with another! You don't strike a woman! A little advice to you women; we do not hit things or beat things we love! I don't pound on the hood of my new truck because i got a flat????

It's called self-defense! But she had better have the marks to prove he was hitting her!

no, if he was trying to beat her to death and she was fighting for her life, then her killing him is in self defense, but she could get charged even though it may have been in self defense. All states are different, and all juries are different.

I think it depends on the man's intent, and how and where it happened.
You have to really prove self defense, though.

Too bad you asked this question. You have established a pattern. Move on leave. Well, why would you be asking such a question? Besides you still killed someone.
