I am nice, patient, empathic, and kind with my wife. But whenever I bring up something I have an issue/problem with, it's like she refuses to hear me. No matter how delicately and tactfully I bring up a disagreeable subject, she immediately switches to defensive mode and blames me for the problem. Example: "Sweetie, I feel X." Response: "Well, you need to stop feeling that way..."

I met this guy on the internet and he is 22 and I am 34. I'm also married(divorcing), with 2 young children. He knows all of this. We met on the internet and connected right away. Texting, talking, web cam, all on an almost daily basis. He's in his senior year of college and an athlete. He's really busy and i kinda screwed things up becoming too attached. he was ignoring me for a few weeks, then he called me Sat. to let me know that all of this was too much for him cause we don't even know eachother yet. He says he likes me but feels uncomfortable cuz of my marriage(until i'm divorced). We had sex once a month ago and we both agree it was amazing!!! But he says he wants to get to know me as friends first; as a person before we become intimate again. What would you think of this? I can understand but we really have fun together and i enjoyed him sexually and as a person, but i admit i don't actually know him yet......What to do????

My husband has been having an affair for 2 1/2 years and we are trying to get through this again. We were separated but he moved home. I found out that he has been going over to the other girls house although he claims to be done with her. He even said "I want to work it out with you so why would I be talking to her." I don't understand what is going on. He said he wanted to be with me, so why isn't he commited?

He knew that he had a family who loved him. He had four children under the age of 9. Was he selfish to do this? Was it that he didn't want to lose her? Why did he have to die a violent death? He was only 30 yrs old.

My ex emailed me and said the kids only want to come if I take them to Florida. They are 7,12 and 14. I have joint custody and speak to them every day and they did not tell me this at all. I am tired of arguing with her. How should I handle this?

I'm having trouble getting my husband to want to do any handy work around the house. If he's not at work he's messing with his computers or at his friends working on a truck for fun. We just bought our home this year and there are many things that need to be done: install a dishwasher, put up shades these 2 things are already bought, arrange garage. Every time I ask for something to be done I get the SAME answer "We'll get to it", or "don't worry I didn't forget", or "We'll have time this weekend". But it NEVER gets done, when I get impatient about it after asking for weeks I get told "Don't ride my ***, grr, rrgg". I'm like it doesn't get done when I don't ride his ***, it don't get done if I do ride his ***. WHAT DO I DO? I grew up with my dad being the type that does everything from building sheds himself to fixing a clogged toilet, fixing cars, anything. I don't know if its stupidity, laziness, or what? It's now affecting our sex life b/c I'm not attracted to laziness.

last week i posted a question on here about my husband's weird friendship with this 27 year old guy and my husband is 45 years old. well the new news on this situation came to a good end after all. the guy jumped up out of the blow and moved to alabama and left his wife in kids in detroit. he called my husband last tuesday and i heard my husband asking him when was he coming back to detroit. i guess the guy said never. well yesterday when my husband and i were on our way to church he told me the real truth behind that conversation he had with the guy on the phone. he told me that the guy told him to pack his things, bring his pension money and moved to alabama with him that they were going to run a warehouse together and sock up. my husband got mad and told me that he was done with that guy because he was not going to change. he erased the guys phone number out of his cellphone and he has scheduled for our home phone number to be changed.

My ex husband & I live about 3 1/2 to 4 hours away from each other. We have a son together & in the divorce decree it states that he gets the 1st, 3rd, & 5th weekends of the month for visitation. He hasn't come to see him since September. When we went before the judge on the day our divorce was finalized both of our lawyers asked us under oath if everything in the decree was in the best interest of our child & we both said yes. Is there anything I can do to make him start coming to see him when he is supposed to since he agreed to it? This is ridiculous that I have to be the only one raising our son. I know that he'll probably use some lame excuse that he's working or something. I'm just trying to figure out how to word it so that he might step up & start doing what's right. I called him a couple of weeks ago & he never called me back...and last night I texted him & asked him to please call or text me back so we can talk about our son & no response. I am fed up.

My alcoholic husband wants a divorce because he says I am negative. He is the one that verbally abuses me and tells me I am fat, he doesn't like the way I dress, I am boring and pathetic. I tried to explain to him that am negative because he is so mean. Why doesn't he understand this, why is he placing the blame on me?

I've recently discovered that the reasons behind my STB ex leaving me was so she could have an affair with a married professor who has kids.

Knowing that this guy contributed to your marriage ending so that your wife could be his side dish, would you contact his wife?'

Last Friday night we went out to a local dance hall and had fun.

I don't drink and just like the entertainment, my wife got drunk, so drunk in fact she was crying.

We have a happy marriage and get along fine she just can't handle her liquor.

But the point of my question is she ran up a tab of $86.00 alone, now I know she didn't drink all that on her own.

I asked her if it was a mistake because sometimes that happens. She tried to say she forgot and then said she will tell me later. I wasn't mad I was just asking her.

Now she is not on with someone else but I bet she bought a round of shots for her and her/our friends while I was outside getting some air.

Why can't she just come out and tell me without all the games and trying to hide it?

I tell her I don't care what she spends our money on I just want her to be truthful.

On yourself? On the things a child needs? Are you getting to little? The right amount? Or more than you should and don't complain?

Or do you spend it or act like this lady?

I know this sounds strange, but it could be for any reason. Maybe just to have an excuse to get out of the marriage for instance. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way.
