There never used to be a '' Well theres always divorce if we fall out'' attitude tho marriage.Do you think it's because divorce has become more acceptable and easy? Or are people just less tolerant with their parteners thesedays? Or anything else =]

went on line to meet guys for an on-line relationship? I'm just curious of the who/what/and how because my signifcant other likes to but she won't talk about it. I busted her a couple times and I really don't care as long as she doesn't try to meet these guys. I tried to chat a couple times but I keep getting directed to pay site..it was actually quite humorous. How do women meet so many guys?

Ok, I posted a week ago, asking about my family and husband not getting along. Well, the thing is, my family only chooses to see/hear what he has done to me, and ignore what I've done to him. So, they don't like him. And he's hurt that I told them everything, one-sided. So, I'm in a pickle! I want them to see him the way I do now.
My sister is in a very important play at a community theater. I want to go, but my whole family is going to be there. I'm nervous that my family will be crappy toward my husband and that my husband will be uncomfortable.
Any ideas on what I can do to keep things smooth? I don't want a confrontation, but I don't want my husband to think that I don't respect him. AAA!

Im curious if its really true what people say the cons are to staying a virgin til marriage argument. One of those reasons is that the husband and wife will be curious about what else is out there, especially if they don't find their marriage sexually gratifying. Would this person cheat to find out? Would it thus be better to have had sex before?

Are you a virgin who regrets staying a virgin til marriage? Were you a virgin before marriage and don't regret it? Why don't you regret it or vice versa?

He are I are 29, have been dating a year, and discussing long-term commitments. Up to now the relationship has been pure joy.

He is primarily interested in career pursuits that are very difficult to make money in (Kung-Fu, stand-up comedy), and that he does not seem to be interested in more education beyond his BA in Eastern religion.

I have had a sudden surge in confidence in my ability to achieve my dreams of getting a graduate degree (whereas I have felt I could not do it before).

On the other hand, my boyfriend is far more fiscally responsible and emotionally healthy than I have been in the past 10 years. He has an undergraduate degree while I have yet to get mine.

I am scared that I feel my academic-career ambitions are greater than his. Even though I have yet to accomplish mine, it seems difficult to do so without the support of someone who has similar ambitions.

Am I wrong to be dissatisfied with his ambitions considering he is still more accomplished than I am?

Hi

I am new here I need honest advice , I have been married 15yrs, and while my husband was working out of town he meet this women in a bar--- while one thing led to another and he is involved with her. I was so stunned , I asked him why? He replied we have nothing in common, I do not like his friends, I spend too much money, He has not be happy in years.... Everyone we know can not beleive his excuses for what he has done. this girl only knew my husband 3 weeks and she decided to move in with him. Well it has been a hard 2 months---- Just recently my husband and I started talking ... My husband can not look me in the eye when we talk at times. I assume he is filled with guilt. He said he did not mean for this to happen, I am such a good person, and He loves me.

So he heard last week I was having health issues, so he came over-- I asked him how he was doing he said Im doing--- which gave me the impression life is not so grand with this women, I heard she is total

My husband is depressed and wont do anything about it. He went to see a doctor and the doctor perscribed him some anti-depressants that he took for a week and then stopped because he didnt like the way they made him feel (numb). He went and saw a therapist once and he didn't like that all he wanted to talk about was his childhood (it was bad). It has gotten to the point where I dont even want to be around him. He hates his job but can't leave it (military) and I know that is a huge issue. Its to the point where I feel like he hates all of his life, me am at the end of my rope on what to do and on patients.

My wife went out and got her nose pierced when I was away for the weekend. We have had numerous discussions about this were I expressed my dislike for this. Now, I understand it is her body and she may do what she likes, but don't I have the right to be upset? She is mad at me for getting upset, which makes me even more mad about the whole thing. Am I missing something here?

Here's what i noticed - this guy i know is "shy" when it comes to certain things, passive when he wants to be and when he doesn't wanna deal w. stress - you don't wanna force him or push him too much

You'd think in relationships, he would suck at communication (lack of experience) but w. this one girl he used to like, he was open and ready to be rejected - was ready to have that "talk"...but this girl who he was close friends w. (and closest thing to a relationship he's experienced) - they both fell for each other yet when it comes to communication, he SUCKS at it...he'll mention things here and there but isn't as confident and then choses to be passive and wants things to wait out and deal with them on it's own...

what's up w. this?

He put his finger in the "other" place. It surprised me but I didn't feel anything special or different, other than the feeling that I had to go to the bathroom. I'm just wondering, why he did that, we never talked about it and if I should do it to him now. I am going to ask him about it, but I wanted your thoughts.

SEX question for MEN and ...women...do you think the amount of sex a man has with his wife has any effect on will he or wont he cheat? Its the topic of todays office debate, and i say no...if a man is gonna cheat, he will regardless, it has more to do with just trying something "new" questions, comments concerns?

My partner and I are both looking to change career paths. I have been offered a position in another state. She is looking for a position in the same state, but as well as New York. My job would start soon, meaning I would have to move without her and live alone in the new state for at least 6 months. I could do the long term thing, but whether she has a new position anywhere is up in the air. I don't want to lose this great opportunity but I love my partner and don't want to lose her.

My husband and I have been married for a little over three years and have marital problems. We have had some pretty bad issues arise. He cheated on me almost a year ago and it took some time to recover from that. He also lied about a porn addiction and began to lie about the simplest things. Believe it or not things are getting better. They have been for the past four or five months. However, we do still get into arguments from time to time.

But I have asked him about having kids for the longest and he keeps saying he's not ready. He recently said our situation has gotten better but he's still not ready. This has been his excuse for the past two and a half years (we started having problems about four months after we were married). I won't say I haven't played my part because at times I can be very pushy and persistent, but I have been faithful and truthful througout this relationship.

I have PCOS (a fertility issue) so I will probably need fertility medication in ...
