went on line to meet guys for an on-line relationship? I'm just curious of the who/what/and how because my signifcant other likes to but she won't talk about it. I busted her a couple times and I really don't care as long as she doesn't try to meet these guys. I tried to chat a couple times but I keep getting directed to pay site..it was actually quite humorous. How do women meet so many guys?

what I meant about being directed to pay sites is I get chat requests from friends to chat but they usually send a link which goes to a pay chat site. I suppose they are out there for a reason.

Don't do it, don't know. I guess she could meet like we are meeting right now, except they could start emailing and stuff.
She shouldn't be doing it. It isn't fair to you.

Are you positive she's not meeting with anyone because it sounds like she is playing on an online meatmarket. Women can meet guys online cuz usually women don't have to sign up and pay for it.. And then there's the shortage dude. For every one good woman looking, there's like two dozen men trolling the net looking for women this way. She's probably just lonely for friends tho and has made a few to chat with. Just keep talking to her.

I think women are more desperate and so they try harder.

I met my husband Nigel in a chat room called friendfinders.com. That was 10 years ago and it is now x-rated I think.

We met in the chat room and exchanged email addresses. I lived in Tennessee and he was in Olklahoma. After a few weeks fo emails, chatting online, letters and phone calls we decided to meet in person. We both drove to W. Memphis, Arkansas which was a halfway point. It was love at first sight. That was in June and by December I had moved to Oklahoma to be with him and we were married 2 years later.

Good Luck

I am sorry to know this.... I am not married, n I do chat with so many guys with no intention of meeting them... when I meet them, it is never personal, we end up being really good friends without benefits..... I know when I get married, it will have to stop...It could destroy the best thing I have.... All the best...

It sounds like your significant other is up to no good. Its the same has having an affair and dont let her make you think otherwise. Just because she hasnt met these guys, she is still flirting and making friends with these guys!!

as i have been on line. met an older man, i am 60 he is 72, i thought about it, and came to the conclusion, it was never going to work. yes plain emailing could lead to an emotional affair, it's as real as when you have a physical one. i was in love, and got real hurt. we never met, spoke and exchanged photos for over a year. it is serious to email to the opposite sex. you can fall in love and lose your mate forever.

That's a problem. No matter if it's "online" or face to face...it's an outside relationship...I would consider it cheating. But if you see no problem, more power to you. But to answer your question, no I've never done it, and I never would.
