I think men fall in one of 3 categories:
1) Will cheat no matter what
2) Will never cheat no matter what
3) Is open to cheating if needs aren't being met

So, to answer your question: for some men it has an effect

No, it has nothing to do with whether or not a man will cheat. The only way it would is just if she kept him chained in the house 24/7. That is it. Once any man or any woman for that matter is out in the real world then we are all open to temptation. Some give in and some don't, but usually for reasons other than the amount of sex we are getting at home.

It will vary. Some men will cheat regardless, but others only feel the need to cheat because they are not receiving enough quality sex at home. Maybe he gets laid whenever he wants, but say the woman is just laying there like she's dead and not actively participating. He could be frustrated by the lack of quality in the sex and then feel the need to seek sexual excitement elsewhere. That doesn't mean you have to pin him down and f*** his brains out every time. Just learn to enjoy it and keep it fresh, that means try a variety of things. Find out what he likes and make sure to focus on those things.

This will definitely keep SOME men from cheating. There's others who can never get enough. So there's no perfect solution for all men. Not all men are the same. You gotta figure out the one you got and see what works best for him.

Men cheat for a few reasons. Some men do cheat because they have no sex life at home, and when the right woman comes with an invitation to him it’s hard for him to turn it down. Some men will cheat regardless. You can’t put all men in the same boat, because we are all different just like all women are different. Women like to convince themselves that men cheat just for the sake of cheating just to clear their own minds for not taking care of their marital duties (which is having sex with your husband).

If the sex and overall marriage is good, there is no reason for him to cheat. Most spouces cheat when they no longer feel loved or satisfied. If the man has a normal sex drive and the women's is zero, no matter what he does to make the situation better, he may be inclined to cheat. No getting anything returned in the area of love is usually a good starting point.

My wife and I have sex once a week to once every 2 weeks and so on. When we started dating we had sex pretty much every day of the week for the first 2 - 3 years and cheating on her never cross my mind. Now having sex less the thought has crossed my mind many of times. To me the more I get sex from my wife the less cheating I think of.

Whoa! Let me get this right? A man who is a cheat is going to cheat. But a woman who is going to cheat won't? Be real, lady. Women are far more likely to cheat than men? Why? Because they SAY they won't, but that's only because it sounds like the right thing to say. They complain about men and then split the moment one a little better than what they've got comes along. Cry about men all you want, it just proves the old saw: I think thou doth protest too much!

Of course there are habitual cheaters but they are the exception. Most men are fine with monogamy so long as there is adequate action in the marital bed.

Off hand I would say that the likelihood for a man to cheat is directly proportional to the frequency of sex divided by the amount of sex a man actually wants.

He will cheat regardless. They cheat because they are bored and angry with themselves. They have low self esteem and just don't feel good about themselves or they feel to good about themselves. They don't care if you are overweight, underweight, beautiful or average, they just cheat. They cheat for the thrill, for self accomplishment. You can do your best to be with them. They will cheat. Clean house, dinners, massages etc... It don't matter they will cheat. If they get to much from sex from you after two days, it's because they are cheating with someone else. That's why they act like they are tired from work. Because they are cheaters! Unless of course, you have that special man in your life who don't cheat. There are some out there, really.

I am mixed on this question because cheaters will cheat regardless the amount of sex BUT if the amout of sex is zero then I would say the amount of sex would contribute to someone cheating...lol
