26 years of marriage [ 2nd time for me] slept seperate rooms for 25.stayed for children,care for each other but total lack of affection on his side although says he still loves me.lol. also says will never walk away from our property!

Hes happy.I stayed for the kids and 1 still here at 30 lol.But Im a mum and my kids come first.Also if I go neither of us would have enough money to buy somewhere else.Just feels so lonely.

You have to make the decision because he will never do it. Say good bye and move on and try and find someone that loves you the way you deserve to be loved. Life is too damn short.

I think it's time for you to go. Is it just because of the house that you're staying? If you and your husband sold the house and split the money evenly, you would go a nice way towards getting yourself somewhere small to live. Now that your kids have gone (the 30 year old will go sometime) you have no reason to stay in this marriage or in the house and you will become very lonely. Go talk to someone in the Citizens Advice Bureau or to a solicitor. Even though he says he will never walk away from your property, you have legal entitlements to it as well.

Why have you wasted a quarter of a century with someone who doesn't show you he cares. Talk is cheap! Let him have the property. Get yourself a cute place and fight out the details in court. Get a life before it's too late.
