I've posted before about my husband.
Short review: I split this summer, and came back 5 weeks ago. For the first 3 weeks he would wake me up at 3am and have arguments. The last 5 days the Psychiatrist told us not to discuss anything.

Then, today, I returned a loaner car to toyota, speeding to get home, got a ticket, it set me off, boy was I ticked off, and then when I got home my mother called, and I was just chatting, and I told her I had frootloops cereal for dinner. My husband says, "Tell her I offered to make you dinner so she doesn't think I don't cook for you." He completely took it in a wrong direciton, got pissed, started saying the cats smelled.
I said, "okay then i should get up this moment and bathe them?" He said, "Yes". I went up, and filled the tub, then he let the cat out of the bathroom! I said, "why areyou so anrgy? what have you to be angry about?" He said, "I cant be angry? I always told you that you drivet too fast!" and slammed the door to his office.(more)

With stepkids.
When you were dating your husband/wife what did the kids do to try to get rid of you? Did it work?

Sorry for asking in this section, but most of the advice in the singles category is given by school aged children and I'm far from that.

I know everyone's answer will be different but that's okay. That's what I'm looking for, different perspectives. Thanks

if your husband or wife came to you and told you out of the clear blue that he or she filed for divorce and told you that they just wanted to be by themselves still giving you no clear explanation as to why they filed for divorce and did not talk to you would you get up and pack you things and leave them?

Not necessiraly fix but make things better because right now things are really bad between me and my husband and I think having a baby will help but Im not sure. What do you think?

Why is it that don't people step back and just put a little more thought into who they sleep with? Especially, based on the fact that you might end up a parent with the wrong person 9 months later. All of this baby moma and baby daddy BS is ridiculous. Long term stability of a family is hard enough without starting out on unstable ground. People put more thought into buying a car than into who they end up having a kid with?

Sometimes our spouses just can't give us everything we need! I sometimes think it would be healthy, as long as it is done safely, to have someone on the side. I'm not saying to just go out, and sleep with the whole town! But, sometimes I just don't find my husband that sexy. Marriage is not easy. We argue over finances. Before we got married sex was hot! Now, it's a freakin chore!!! BTW, I don't think I would care if he had something on the side, as long as it was not in my face! Does anyone feel the same way as me?

My wife and I have been married for over four months. We went from about 4-6 times a day, to twice a day, to once a day, to once ever day or two.

We both work and come home very stressed sometime. Sometimes, I don't feel like making love with her because I am exhausted and just want to go to bed. She feels the same.

We talk openly about this and it doesn't seem to be a big issue. I'm just worried that this could lead to something greater. What should I do?

It seems to be that couples are fine together until they get married, then it all seems to go downhill.

Anybody else feel the same way, or have your own experiences (both positive and negative) you could share?

Cheers.

I have a friend & he had been living with his girlfriend for 2 years. His girlfriend has a 7 years old son which they did not have together. If they lived together for 3 years, will they automatically be married & if he decides to broke up with her, will he be responsible to pay her son's living expanses every month?

My husband and I have been married for 10 yrs and together for 12. We have two beautiful daughters (7 and 4). I learned a month ago that he's been having an affair with a woman from his work. He doesn't know I found out. Aside from the affair he's a great husband and father. I can't see myself throwing away 12 yrs and raising our daughters in a split home. I know he loves us. Am I wrong for accepting this?

Just curious.

So I deployed to Iraq and my wife said she would take this opportunity to pay off bills and save money. Neither of which happend, She can not account for thousands of dollars. I would have monitored this but where I was at I didnt not have any way to get on the internet, but everytime I asked how we were doing finalcially she said, "We are doing soo good." So the first time I check my bank Im like WTF. Just dont know what to do, to me this is almost like cheatting on me, or the next worse thing that could have happened....I mean damn I am spending over a year of my life in Iraq getting shot at, blown up and watching my friends die or get injured...am I overreacting?

My husband has a really good job now but he is looking to work at a bigger hospital. He interviewed last week in CA (we live in Florida) and was so excited about the job. He said the interview went great. Well they called today and told him they offered the job to someone else. He said he is fine with it but I can tell he is bummed..What are some encouraging things I can say to him?

hey, my best friend is having a really really hard time coping with her parents divorce. Her parents' divorce isn't finalized and her mom is already engaged. (she doesn't want them to get married-she doesn't like the fiance). Her brother sorta 'hates' her, and she 'hates' him. Her dad is almost never home. She feels as if her mom doesn't care about her at all. All in all, her life kinda sucks to her. The problem is that I can't help her because I can't relate to her situation. My question: Do you guys know any good sites for teens that give good advice on how to cope with stuff like this?
The help hotlines wouldn't help that much unless they're Swiss or French numbers (we live in Switzerland).

Thanks so much for any help, my friend really needs it. xx

If a guy is married why do they insist on still going to the strip clubs? Especially when they see and get whatever they wanted at home without paying? Just curious

~ not borrow? or
~ keep it from you significant other?

if lets say, you were to (or could) borrow -much needed- money from someone he/she disliked?

Keep in mind there are few alternatives to borrow from- like banks, other family members, ect...plus the interest involved would set u back for years!
Im talking about 3thousand-but still get the hint.

I am so curious as to what you people would do in tihs case.

*and there are no srtings attached--none (from the peson loaning the cash).

My boyfriend and I have been together about 7 years now and have lived together about 4. Recently I have found some really distasteful videos on our new computer. Not only am I appalled, because I am there all of the time he could just come to me…but I am also worried all this nasty stuff he is looking at could potentially ruin our new computer a.i. viruses, etc. So last night I installed I-shield Lite which blocks any pornographic images and videos and he is pissed! He changed my hotmail account password where I can’t even check my messages( which by the way I am waiting on an important one from one of my professors) and now I happen to find where he is trying to block me out of my Myspace account. I think he is acting childish and it seems like he would die without getting to look at these videos/images each and every day. Should I just un-install the I-Shield and keep the peace or do you think he has a problem. It ticks me off when I find this nasty stuff on our computer. It is degrading, trashy, and classless. I have asked him repeatedly to not download that trash before, but he doesn’t seem to listen or care. Now he is livid with me and says I am treating him like a child. Can I have everyone’s thoughts/suggestions?

I so love her, and I find her precious. The problem is that she is a prima donna, and was clearly spoiled as a child. We are roommates, and she loves to shop, loves girly stuff, loves to spend way over her head, and has no problem asking for favors all the time. It always just seems to be about "her". The times between when she doesn't act like that are wonderful, but they are far less frequent. We have a passionate love for each other, and we talk about marriage and kids daily. I worry that I won't be able to put up with this behavior forever, and I'm not sure she is ABLE to change after 26 years. I have this hope that maybe opposites really do attract, and hold passion because of the differences, but I doubt that cliche big time. I've never seen an adult like this, and I'm still amazed that it's real. I'm a self-made man, and don't ask for anything from anyone, but she will run people ragged, especially me, to get what she wants. I really want to marry her. Please help!
