I think you should be happy that your husband respects you so much. Maybe you guys need to have a little sit down to figure out why he really feels you shouldn't wear your size. You can probably talk it through. No respectful man wants other men staring at his woman.

I think he is very controling i would put a stop to this immediatly he will only get worse. You have to get a back bone and stand up to him you are your own person and no one has the right to tell you what to do. If he dosent stop i would leave.

***RED FLAG*** I would say this is the BEGINNING of him starting to control you. It will ONLY get worse.
If he won't let you shop alone or wear the proper size clothing it won't stop there.
talk to him now and tell him he needs to stop or move on without him

If he tells you what to wear, he's controlling.
If you LET him control your behavior, you're foolish.
Your son is now learning how to control women.....is that what you want him to know?
Get counseling ASAP or get out.

It sounds very controlling to me and possibly psychologically abusive. You two need counselling.

go shopping alone.
And yes, it sounds like he's being a bit controlling. He is most likely insecure with himself and is unfortunately taking it out on you.
