seriously everyone, i need to get back to work and focus on my JOB!! I work from home but now i've discovered Answers I am addicted. It's like I've found a new friend (several actually).

i am a management consultant , I get paid for the work I complete and deliver to my clients. But I am finding it so hard to stay off Answers. Even the thought of not getting paid sooner rather than later doesn't detract me.

If my life wasn't so complicated i wouldn't need to seek advice from strangers. Yep, I'm addicted.

i'm going to miss you all but I need to get off.

Ciao friends!!! XXX It's been fun.

Am soon going to get divorced and to take my mind off it i have joined a hobby class where this married girl of my same age (late 20s) also comes. Last week she asked me to drop her somewhere and i did (i give lift to many people in my class), while getting off from my car she asked me to come to her place sometime for coffee and i told her i will. Everything seems fine till here.

The problem is i often find her taunting or laughing at me, staring at me then looking away etc in the class that makes me feel uncomfortable. Now she has asked me 3 times before on similar occasions to come to her house for coffee (i guess in her husband's presence).

Now, should i accept her invitation to seem polite or just ignore it? At the same time was she just being polite to me for dropping her or am i reading too much?

I am from the country in Montana. I like country music and I like to wear western cloths like wranglers and cowboy boots. I married my new wife in February of this year. She now tells me that she doesn't like country music or anything country western and won't be seen with my in my cowboy boots or wranglers because it embarrases her. This has saddened me because this is my roots and my whole family dresses like this. They do not accept my new wife as it is and this has made it only worse. How do I get my new wife to accept me as I am? It has been very hard to pretend to be someone I'm not. So far I have had to change the way I dress, the foods I eat. I even started drinking chai tea just to please her even though I prefer black coffee. Please help me.

My friend and I are both married to new people now but about 6 years ago my ex dumped me and I was gutted. My friend was away for a few months so her boyfriend and I spent a lot of time together. We got very close and fell in love. He helped me through a difficult time but in the process he dumped my friend because he had fallen for me. Now everytime I see her she constantly goes on about her ex and how she never found out why he dumped her. I can't even be in the same room as her. I spoke to my husband about whether i should come clean and hope she will forgive me. He said i should just leave it as she shouldnt be going on about her ex all the time if she is married plus it was such a long time ago. Its eating me up and I can't sleep. I have depression and I know if I tell her I will lose all my friends as we have the same circle of friends. Should I tell her or try to forget about it?

My husband and I have been married for 16 yrs. For some reason he only wants to shave about once per week. I have had depression throughout our marriage and I sometimes think he may suffer too, although he would never admit it. My question is, when we go out on Sat night as a family and he hasn't shaved in 6 or 7 days, is it inappropriate for me to ask him to shave? Sometimes he is fine with it, but other times I offend him even though I ask nicely. BTW, despite my depression, I always dress nice when we go out and have my hair fixed pretty and my make-up on. I don't mind a few days unshaved, but 6 to 7 days just seems disrespectful to me. He didn't shave the night before our anniversary either, when we were intimate. I asked him on our anniversary and he did, but I don't know if he would have thought of it if I hadn't asked. Don't get me wrong. I know this problem isn't "huge", I simply want to know if you would choose to bring it up or keep quiet about it. Thanks ladies.

My hubby is a teacher. I haven't worried much about him straying b/c I've seen where he works and it is mostly older women or women who are married. And also his grade level has several men for him to talk to.

But he has an intern this year. Dummy me, I assumed it was going to be a guy. But it is a girl in grad school. I know they spend alot of time together working with the kids. That in itself bothers me; her being in his room ,etc.

Well last night he was emailing her from home. She had sent him an email (why is she using his personal email and not his work email? Why did he give it to her?) and he was clearly smiling about it; she was jabbing him about the football game/ apparently she is a sports freak (so is my hubby) and they like rival teams.

I used his password and checked his mail ro read it all. I feel like I am invading his privacy, but I am picking up on flirting on both sides! I don't want him flirting or getting close with her. Should I worry?

Need suggestions. If you when in a long distance relationship and you did see the person several times a year. But the last their way home they said. Don't worry about over there because what's over there will stay there. when he returns home he said he would coming back alone. Lately the calls and texts are now once a day. before four to five a day. And also the last time home received several text messages very late night. Is this becoming a waste of time.

three hours away. My company is providing a rental car, room etc. He is going to go up to KC in his own car and wants to take our two children to an amusement park. He asked me if I would take my own car and he would pay me all my mileage if I would return on Sunday with our two children so he could then go on and drive an additional two hours to see his girlfriend. I don't know why but this really irritated me because I felt like this was my weekend to concentrate on my professional development and the thought of going to my boss and telling her I didn't need the car because my ex was going to take care of everything. Am I wrong to feel irritated about this? Should I do him a favor? I just felt like he was infringing upon my time when he agreed to keep the kids. If it was for any other reason, example if he had a business trip etc. I just can't bring myself to work with him on this merely because it is for selfish reasons on his part...am I wrong???

I have a great marriage and a beautiful daughter. I would never want to leave my husband or do things differently. However, every once in a while I think about a guy that I dated a long time ago and wonder what would have happened if I had ended up with him. We had a really good relationship and the timing was just off. I wonder about him and what his life is like. Yet, I have never attempted to contact him because I feel that this would be unfair to my husband. But, every once in a while it nags at me and I miss him. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience and what I should do about it.
Thanks!

Even though he hurt me to a great extent...I showed a tough exterior and never asked him that I wanted him back, because he betrayed me. But inside I was dieing, and I still love someone who has hurt me so badly. He wants nothing to do with me, and I know I will never see or speak to him again. How do I move on????

I always love to talk to my husband about my feelings and I want him to talk to me about his. But the other night we were talking about love. He told me that he thinks it is sweet that I love so hard, but he said most people love like that with their first love but after that they don't. I know about his first love. They were 16 and had a baby by the time they were 17. The relationship didn't last long after that. He says she cheated. I know her now and I really like her. They never got married, but he did marry someone else soon after they split. He was married 7 years and his wife cheated so they divorced. The thing is, I have been hurt in the past too, but it doesn't stop me from loving with all my heart. My first love died 5 weeks before we were to get married. I don't let that stop me. I want to be loved like that again. I am afraid that I will never be able to have him love me the way I love him. What should I do?

My husband entered drug rehab for 8 months after 12 years (on & off) of addiction to prescription meds. It is a Christian regeneration program. I have decided I want a divorce. He still has 4 months to go. I am afraid he will leave the center or convince me to not go through with the divorce. Of course, the center is very anti-divorce. We have 2 girls ages 8 & 5. I don't know what to do! I am miserable!!
