Would you tell if you knew someone was playing away or had been?

i would tell but only if i had definite proof eg a photo or video as in the program cheaters. Otherwise the cheating partner has a chance to deny everything and if its your word against theirs, your friendship with the couple will then suffer.
Without proof or the means to obtain it, i would just tell the faithful partner to see for themselves to make their own minds up.

What do you hope to gain from doing so??
What will be the consequences?
Is this supposed to help the person who is/ has been cheated on?
Do you know for a fact that this person doesn't already know, but wants to leave well enough alone???
Once you have weighed the pros and cons of your decision, it seems to me that it should be easier for you to know what to do.

I am not saying not to tell, as if it were me, I'd would want to know. But you have information that we don't have so, based on that only you can make the final decision.

Yes I would. My ex was cheating for 2 years before I found out. It was the best kept secret in our small town. I felt so stupid and so very hurt when I did find out. All my friends knew what was going on but chose not to tell me.... some friends they turned out to be.

I wouldn't have to think twice about spilling the beans.
Cos if I was being cheated on I would want someone to
be king enough and brave enough to tell me.
The thought of other people knowing while I hadn't a clue
would make me feel like a laughing stock.
(If they had been and it was over, I would still look out but I
would prob.keep quiet about it to see if they can resolve their
relationship)

I would find some way to make the person aware of it especially if I was close to the one being cheated on. There are to many life threatening STD'S out there and I would do it out of making the person aware of it to protect them. I would definitely want someone to let me know what is going on in my world and appreciate them for informing me if I wanted to try to save my marriage. I would not tell them directly to their face but do it in a way that they would never know that it came from me!

My ex wife cheated on me and i wish somebody had told me ealier so i could of got out of the marriage quicker. All my married mates don't tell me if they have been having an affair because i would give them a hard time because i think that cheaters have no respect and will always do it again.
