i cant forgive him this past thursday i almosted kissed someone at work and he wants me to transfer i dont want to we arent together really i already told him i cant be with him but he wont leave we have to 2 kids and i dont know what to do

43, seperated, mother of 1 gradeschool child full custody, back in college 3/4 time, work fulltime, has house and dog. Even though my life is very busy, I still wish I knew how to meet new people! Any suggestions that would fit in my schedule?

We've been married 19 months and have an 8 month old son together plus a 3 year old daughter. My daughter is not biologically his. He asked me to move to South Carolina from Maine two years ago and marry him. We were totally in love so I did. He works and I stay home and take care of the kids. I don't know anyone here and I don't have any friends or family to stay with. He just suddenly decided he's not happy and wants a divorce. He wont tell me why and won't talk to me PERIOD. I personally think he is just under a lot of stress because we have to move to a different house on base, bills and his demanding job. I really don't think I am a bad wife to him. He neglects our kids and doesn't do anything around the house. I see other husbands out mowing or taking out the trash. He just sits on the computer ALL DAY playing fantasy football and cyberdunk.com.
He's in the USAF and leaving for Korea at the beginning of November. This is killing me. I don't know what to do!

ok i know my husband is in a lot of pain due to a seriosu back injury and he has been out of work for 9 months now so he is very depressed bc he is home all day and my parents and his parent shave made him feel like a loser for it and have not been supportive at all, he is going back to work in a week so i though tthis would make him happy but the last month or so he has seemed so unbearable and we fight all the time for the last 5 months. i try to be understanding i mean i am the only one who has been there for him i never complain about being the only one working and never having any money for myself. he always goes out and spends money on basevball cards bc it relaxes him when he is home alone and i dont mind bc it makes him happy., but it seems like my happiness doesnt matter. his temoer has been bad lately he would never hit me but he gets mad at every little thing and he is always in a bad mood lately. i feel like im walking on egg shelss all the time. i dont understand this?

I have been married for half a year, I like my husband as he has many wonderful qualities, but I dont love him. Im not attracted to him and I feel my emotional needs not satisfied.
Then I met this guy, Im very attracted to him, we spent every weekends together for about 3 months till now, I told my husband I went out with some friends, he feels very painful when Im out. I know he loves me very much, so he tolerated for 3 months.
the fact is they dont know each other, my bf doesnt know Im already married and he now wants me to move in with him.
He is unhappy that I dont introduce him to my friends.
I sometimes feel guilty, but I dont want to leave my bf. but I dont want to hurt my husband too much either.
am I selfish? what should I do

Answer #11 by Paul A illustrates my point. (No disrespect to Paul A is intended. I'm just using the answer as a demonstration.) Women don't joke about marriage being not a word but a sentence, something that they have to pay for years and years down the road. Women don't see it that way.

So it gets down to the heart of my question. Why do men hate marriage so much?

I just wanted to get some opinions. I was speaking to someone who says that my husband and I don't match as a couple because I have piercings and tattoos and he doesn't. They mentioned that usually if one partner has tattoos or piercings the other does as well.

I was wondering is there any other couples out there like us? I'm 31 and have loved piercings and tattoos since I was a kid. I have my nose, lip, tongue, nipples, navel and clit done while my husband only had one ear ring.
IIt's not like I'm wild and crazy. I'm a pretty normal 31 year old woman, actually a business woman (I manage and oversee a recording studio)

First of all, I want to say tht I love my husband. His name is Shay and I love him so much. However, when ever he gets mad, which is often he seems to get abusive. It all started verbally but about a month ago, he started becoming physically abusive with me. It hurts me not juist physically but emotionally. I wonder how someone who I love more than anything in this world can do that to me. I ask him to talk to me so maybe I can help him but he conntinues to be abusive. When he is beating me, I beg him to stop and tell him I love him so much. I dont want to leave him so what I need are suggestions to how I can deal with this without having to do that. I feel so lost. Today, he kissed me on the cheek and it meant everything to me because that is how our relationship used to be.I viewed his kiss as his way to say "Im sorry" I cry every night because I dont know what to do. Please help me. I love him so much.

I have been married for six years. About three month ago i had a row with my husband . We were in different countries during the time we had a row(I was on holiday for two months).We didnt speak to each other for about month, then i decided to call him from the country where i was and suddenly probably problems with telephone lines I could hear on the telephone line that he was talking to another women and understood from the conversation that he just met her but there is nothing between them.Now I am back and I am 90% sure that he doesnt speak to her anymore but Now I cant trust him and i am very jealous, wherever he goes I I mean after work with freinds or collegues I cant stop being jealous and i dont know what to do. I am really fed up with it.What can you advise to me?

I just found out from an old friend that my ex boyfriend (of two years), recently married. I saw some of the wedding photos, I was freaked cause she looks exactly like me. Other friends think its weird too. My ex never had a physical "type" & he had a hard time committing. He left another ex girlfriend standing at the alter, not once, but twice. I left him because he was dishonest and treated me very badly & we did share a really intense personal event that will be with both us forever, making it harder to "forget". He wanted to work it out, said he felt bad for how he treated me, but in the end, he could not turn it around. When I left him, I ended cold turkey, & talked to him only twice about separation stuff. I cut the ties off with him and never contacted or spoke to him again. I am now not sure if he got over it, or me. I'm happy he is married, but just can't get over the fact that the wife looks identical to me. Any thoughts on this?

I'm not seeing it in my fiancé, but I saw it in past relationships, and I'm wondering if there's a connection.

"There's three rings involved in marriage. The engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffer-ring." Calling the wife a "ball and chain" or telling a groom on the way to the church, "It's not too late to back out." Or, like I saw one time on TV as a practical joke, writing "help me" on the bottom of the groom's shoes so that it showed when he knelt at the altar. It was supposed to be funny, but it seems like somebody is against marriage here. I think when a man consistently makes these jokes and/or finds them funny, it means deep down he fears commitment or doesn't want to be married. Am I right?

By the way, I did ask this question in Polls and Surveys but I didn't get answers.

Ok Well I don't know if this is so much a question as I just need to vent.
My Ex FINALY calls and wants to do something with our daughter, The last time was when he wanted to impress a girl with what a great dad he is, he asked her to go to church with them.. she said NO well the girl never saw him again.. ok because the girl just wanted to be his friend..
SO he has been trying to impress this girl half his age now ( another one).. I KNOW this is why he asked her to the fair because come to find out this girl has told him she wants to just be friends as well.. well she has 3 kids and wanted it to be him and his kid and her and hers.. well my daughter wanted to go to the fair so she said ok..
Now he tells me she and I are just friends... because I have told him I don't think its right to get our daughter involved in relationships that we don't know where they are going.. because it is always the kids who get hurt..
OHH we are just friends he tells me.. though I know he wants more.

I take care of the kids, etc. and I started a jewelry business. My collection will be complete in a month ready for my online store. I said that doesn't count? He said not until I bring in some money. (I mean I'm not sitting on my ***. I have to start somewhere. There has to be a beginning to a business. U can't make money before u have your collection and I've worked hard.) What do u think? I feel underappreciated. and angry.

My dad is a jerk and used to abuse my mom. I don't want to live with him, bu the lives near my school and i don't wanna move again. My mom is loving and kind. She understands everything! I wanna live with her, but her house is kinda small and she lives in a different state so i have to wake up an hour earlier to get to school at a regular time. I just found out my mom is lesbian, but that doesn't effect me at all, because i love her just the way she is...
I just need help...im scared of my dad and when i told him i wanted to live with my mom she cried all night. My step-mom just had a baby who is now 2 and i want to be there while he grows up...
