Probably not. I would however read the guilty party the riot act and threaten to tell so they would come clean themselves.

I have learned that by butting in sometimes you are the one who ends up getting burned. It is a chance worth taking depending on how long you are willing to go with your friend angry at you (that is if they believe the LIE their spouse says to them) And they only believe it when they are ready to. And that can take a long long time. Have GOOD HARD EVIDENCE before you do it.. so there is NO ROOM for the spouse to say you are a LIAR!

Maybe not tell the spouse yourself but urge them to confess what they have done. Cheating is wrong and they need to know what the price of doing that is.

Why are you in a position where someone would feel like it was okay to talk to you like this?
NEVER get involved - you'll wind up the bad guy

No; that would put you in the middle of a potential mess - and they could both gang up on you. That's not a good situation.

Mind your own business!! And tell them you would prefer not to know because it makes you feel guilty for not telling!! But, it is definitely not your place to be the bearer of such horrible news!
