We all engage in this fantasy sometimes.

For me, I would have done things differently back when I met my wife. Buy life is what it is and I'm happy with what I have now.

That is to say my life would be completely different if I hadn't married her, but I don't have a clue if it would be better or worse than what I have.

Well I don't have to imagine life without my spouse, I am living it. I was very happy with my marriage, my husband brought more than happiness to my life. Yes there were differences but we always got through them, there were ups and downs, good times and bad. He was my best friend and many other things.
Trying to be the responsible couple and thinking about the just in case we talked about writing a will, about where the children would go, it was hard and not something we ever finished. The thought of living without him was one I would always push away, I knew I would be miserable. Well now I know that I was right, I miss him terribly.

I think your happiness comes from you....They can add something special to your life but only you can make you truly happy. I don't really have a story. I am single and very happy....I depended on my X spouse for a long time and we I divorced I realized that I didn't need anyone to bring me something I already had, a comfort from within..Indivisual differ, there will be others that tell you that they do bring you happiness and others will tell you that they are a curse. Its up to you what you want in your life...

I can't imagine life without my husband. He's always been there, since I was 16. We've been together 34 years. You do the math.

Last year our daughter & I went to Mexico for a week. That was the first time we had been apart for more than 2 days. I had fun, but missed him alot.

I hope I never have to find out what life would be like without him.

This is how I imagine life without my spouse-

It would feel as though I had a string tied under my left rib where my heart is, tightly knotted to his in a similar fashion. And when he is gone I am afraid that the cord will be snapped, and I will bleed inwardly.

I am sure those can guess it is from jane Eyre my favorite all time movie, but I truly would feel that way.

I love my husband so deeply. Beyond all thinking.

It depends...

I've been divorced for almost 3 years and I'm very happy. If I could see my children more, I would be happier. But not being with my spouse is best for me.

I'm not saying that I will NEVER marry again, but I cannot stay with my ex. We just don't get along. But it's not that I hate her either, we live about a mile away from each other. I bought this house about a year ago so I could be nearer to my children.

Now if I was with someone I loved and possibly married to, and they passed away from a disease or accident, I would be heart-broken.

He does bring happiness to my life now.... But my x husband, if we had never gotten married. I see myself as skinny as I use to be and riding pretty much full time Rodeo Circuit. Still Being at the company I worked for, it would be 13 years now (I quite working there before we got married, to make him happy). I see myself having all the friends I use to have that he made me get rid of. Having all the money I lost becasue of him. Now my new bf is great and he gives me alot of things I thought i had lost forever. I try not to think about the past too much. the future looks bright, the past is the past. Live and Learn and then do better.

mine brings true happiness...he always says "i don't know what i did for God to bless me like this... by putting you in my life" and just stares at me while I'm sleeping and when i wake up he tells me how beautiful i am and he cant help but to admire my beauty. I love him so much! And all the love and support that he has given me would last me for the rest of my life if he happened to die today.

Life alone is useless, it is like a home without human being living inside. In otherwords, No man is an island.

My husband is by far my bestest friend. I just cant imagine my life without him. No matter what is going on in my life, he is the one I go to first.
