The marriage is a relationship between a man & a woman that comes in existence by the matrimonial law governing them, they are called husband & wife when they marry according to the religion & customs they follow or by a legal process which they follow, which are necessary for a valid marriage between them. This is a legal relationship, which binds them as husband & wife. They enjoy the various privileges & rights which otherwise they would not have had they not married legally. In order to bring a break in this relationship, such relationship of marriage has to be dissolved by either ‘divorce’ or by ‘annulment’ as the case may be in their case. The dissolution of marriage is always carried out by an authority of the government which has to be either a judicial officer of the rank of district judge at least or by an authority recognized by the religion as well the government as in case of 'Muslims' who happens to be a Qasi in whose presence along with witnesses a Muslim couple can get divorce. Since this relationship of husband & wife is legal in nature it comes to an end by legal process as told above. As far other relationship are by birth or by marriage. A relationship by birth or blood relationship cannot be broken by any legal process but only by ‘death’ for example a father or mother when die the physical relationship between the children & him or her comes to an end, whereas any relationship which is by marriage comes to end with the dissolution of marriage between the main parties & any one who became his or her relative too comes to an end when their marriage is legally broken for example after the marriage between the husband & wife is legally dissolved the father in law or mother in law of either don't remain as this relationship too broke with their marriage, they can remarry & have new father in law or mother in law for them. No special word is required for breaking such relationship which came in existence only because of this legal process of marriage between the main two people (husband & wife) & their other blood relatives. Hope you understand this difference between a relationship which is due to a legal process & relationship which by birth or blood relationship.

Divorce can be applied only between the relation of Husband & Wife cz divorce word means legal dissolution of marriage. Divorce is a sepration between thought and feeling. It make a end of one's married life. Thats why divorce is only applied between husband and wife relationship.
Divorce is a legal word used for ending the married life
For other relationship we can use the word sepration,divide etc..

Divorce is the legal end to marriage. It is granted by courts set up by authority of the state.
You dont need to go to the court to end any other form of relationship as such relationship continues on mutual consent. Only when the law gets involved in the relationship do you have to go to the court.

Devorce is only name for refering seperation of Husband & Wife which is decided by our Society. Seperation of friends or brothers or sisters or brother and sister (many examples can be given) do have there names.
Name is nothing but a label for perticular thing and 'Devorce' is example of it. You can use some other word also in your private dictionary if accepted then will be included in later society.

Commonly Divorce is used for breaking relationshiop b/w husband n wife but actually its an generic term ...which can be used for any broked relationship ..may be father to child or sister for brother...

u marry to a person and all the relatives r added to your list in the same way when u divorce it is deleted at your wish . but this is possible for only previous list and not the list which is fruit of your marriage i.e. children.

Divorce is a legal end to a legally sanctioned marital relationship.
When two people who are not married split up that is all it is - split up the relationship, split up the furnishings and go.... no legal hassels.

it is a manmade relation which is legal and if in law if want to breake it , it require divorce. Heirditary relations cant be divorsed
